- We are LIVE from Phoenix, Arizona for Wrestle War 1991.
- Luger defends the US Title against Dan Spivey, Doom defends the World Tag Titles against the Fabulous Freebirds, and Stan Hansen will battle Vader... all on Wrestle War 1991!!!
- For the WCW 6-man Tag Team Titles: State Patrol (Parker and Wright)/Big Cat Vs ©Junkyard Dog, Tommy Rich and Ricky Morton (no actual titles)
- JYD and Big Cat start things off. Dog and Cat... Both men trade right hands...
- Dog with a running clothesline and a head butt.
- Morton and Wright come in and Wright goes down after an elbow.
- Morton with a hip toss and arm drag. More arm drags and an arm lock by Morton.
- Here comes Rich, and Wright goes down after a double clothesline.
- Wright comes back with right hands but Rich connects with a power slam.
- Rich with an arm lock... Wright rakes the eyes. Scoop slam by Wright.
- Parker gets the tag and misses an elbow drop... Rich with another arm drag.
- Parker with shoulder rams in the ropes. After a few leapfrogs, Rich with a hip toss... and yet another arm drag.
- Morton comes back but Parker delivers a few right hands. Morton with inverted atomic drops on both State Patrol members.
- Morton back to an arm lock... Dog gets the tag and he snapmares Parker down.
- Head butt by Dog. Cat comes back into the ring.
- Test of strength, no wait... yes, and both men begin to try to get the advantage. Cat appears to have the advantage, until Dog trips Cat and connects with a head butt.
- Cat comes back with a rake to the eyes and elbow drop... 2 count.
- Parker gets the tag and clubs away on Dog who no-sells.
- Morton gets the tag and he places Parker into a side headlock. Parker sends Morton into the ropes and Wright knees Morton on the back.
- Wright gets the legal tag. Parker places Morton on his knee and Wright leaps off the middle rope with a splash onto the knee and goes for the cover... 2 count.
- Parker gets the tag and both men take Morton down with a double shoulder block.
- Here comes Cat who drops an elbow onto the back of Morton... 2 count.
- Cat with a dropkick... 2 count.
- Cat with a few head butts. Cat stomps Morton in the corner. Cat with a power slam... Cat goes off the ropes and misses an elbow drop.
- Parker gets the tag. Morton fights back with right hands... Parker connects with a power slam... 2 count.
- Wright comes in and head butts Morton in the gut... Parker connects with a running bulldog... Wright with an elbow drop... 2 count.
- Parker comes back in and they connect with a double back breaker and double elbow drops... 2 count.
- Cat comes in and stomps away on Morton.
- Cat catches Morton in mid-air and connects with a back breaker... 2 count.
- Cat punches Rich, causing a distraction.
- Parker is now in and kicks away on Morton... Rear chin lock on Morton.
- Parker goes chest first into a corner, and tags in Wright... Morton finally tags in Dog...
- Dog with right hands, head butts to both Patrol members. Dog with power slam on Parker... Cat breaks it up... but Morton comes in and covers... 1-2-3.
- Your Winners: And still 6-man Tag Team Champions: JYD/Ricky Morton and Tommy Rich via pinfall.
- Faces celebrate afterwards.
- Brad Armstrong Vs Bobby Eaton
- Eaton quickly attacks Armstrong, but Armstrong comes back with right hands...
- Armstrong with a nice head scissors and two dropkicks... Armstrong places Eaton into an arm lock.
- Eaton backs Armstrong into the corner and delivers a right hand. Armstrong comes back with an arm drag and places Eaton into an arm bar.
- Armstrong delivers knees to the arm of Eaton.
- Eaton with a knee to the gut of Armstrong and sends him to the outside.
- Armstrong sends Eaton into the ring post and ring steps...
- I should note that you can clearly see a LOT of empty seats on the camera side.
- Back in the ring, Armstrong wrenches on the arm of Eaton. Eaton reaches the ropes but they shove each other.
- Test of strength, and Eaton kicks Armstrong in the midsection. Armstrong comes back and actually steps onto the shoulders of Eaton, leaps off, goes the middle turnbuckle and connects with a flying cross body... 2 count.
- Armstrong goes back to the arm bar. Eaton backs Armstrong into a corner and delivers a right hand.
- Eaton hooks Armstrong and looks for a slingshot suplex but Armstrong reverses into a suplex of his own.
- Armstrong wrenches on the arm of Eaton.
- Eaton comes back with a big clothesline... 2 count.
- Eaton with a back breaker... 2 count.
- Eaton with a scoop slam and he connects with an elbow drop... 2 count.
- Rear chin lock by Eaton on Armstrong.
- Armstrong gets to his feet and delivers elbows...
- Eaton with a knee lift to Armstrong....
- Eaton with an impressive slingshot back breaker... 2 count.
- Reverse chin lock by Eaton.
- Eaton with an elbow to the face and he sends Armstrong to the outside...
- Eaton drops Armstrong chest first onto the guard rail.
- Abdominal stretch applied by Eaton using the ropes for leverage.
- Armstrong comes back with right hands... Eaton sends him into the corner and misses a splash in the corner...
- Armstrong with a nice dropkick and Russian leg sweep... 2 count.
- Eaton with a swinging neck breaker... Eaton goes to the top rope and connects with a leg drop... 1-2-3.

- Landel slaps Rhodes, but Rhodes fights back with a back drop and drop kick... 2 count.
- Landel with a knee to the gut and right hands... Landel with chops in the corner.
- Rhodes fights back with right hands and ten elbows in the corner.
- Rhodes with a hip toss and a running clothesline... 2 count.
- Back to an arm bar by Rhodes.. Landel is acting like Flair...
- Landel comes back with kicks and right hands... Scoop slam.
- Landel to the top turnbuckle... Rhodes catches him and slams Landel down.
- Rhodes misses a running shoulder block in the corner... Landel kicks Rhodes and chokes him some more...
- Landel with a vicious chop and hard right... 2 count.
- Landel places Rhodes into a wrist lock... Landel mounts Rhodes and delivers a few right hands...
- Landel rakes the eyes of Rhodes a few times... Scoop slam... 2 count.
- Sleeper hold by Landel... Rhodes comes back with one of his own... Landel drops down and Rhodes drops down head first onto the top turnbuckle...
- Landel charges towards Rhodes in a corner... Rhodes gets the boot up...
- Rhodes with a clothesline and Landel is sent to the outside.
- Back inside, Rhodes with a gorilla press slam... And the running bulldog... 1-2-3.

- Vader is actually a baby face here...
- Hansen tries to attack Vader early and they are fighting on the outside...
- Hansen clotheslines Vader back into the ring and delivers right hands...
- Vader with a vicious left clothesline and delivers right hands on the mat... 2 count.
- Vader with a big splash in the corner... elbow drop... 2 count.
- Vader with a rear chin lock, Vader clubs away on Hansen.
- Vader sends Hansen to the outside... and Hansen comes back with right hands.
- Vader with a stiff clothesline on Hansen...
- Vader with right hands in the corner... Vader misses a splash in the corner...

- Hansen with boots and elbow to the head of Vader.

- Vader drops Hansen gut first onto the guard rail and connects with an elbow drop.
- Vader kicks Hansen some more, Hansen pulls Vader to the outside and sends him into the ring steps.
- Knee strikes by Hansen... Both men are on their knees in the ring trading right hands.
- Hansen sends the referee to the outside... And the referee signals for the bell...
- Vader with a clothesline... Vader to the top turnbuckle and he connects with a flying clothesline... Vader misses a big splash...
- Hansen with a running shoulder block and he grabs his bull rope and begins to choke Vader... Vader comes back with the rope around Hansen and drags him to the backstage area... They are both still fighting to the back...

- Jim Ross and Dusty talk about Spivey facing Luger in the upcoming match for the US Title.

- Luger backs Spivey into a corner and there is a clean break...
- Locked up still, and Spivey backs Luger into a corner and delivers right hands...
- Luger comes back with a few running clotheslines...
- Spivey clubs away on the back of Luger... Luger blocks an atomic drop and connects with a back suplex... 2 count.
- Spivey has Luger in a corner and delivers right hands... Spivey runs into a big boot... Luger with right hands...
- Luger with a hip toss, and he charges towards Spivey looking for a cross body but Spivey ducks and Luger goes flying into the second ring.
- Luger is holding his knee. Spivey suplexes Luger back into the main ring...

- Spivey goes chest first into the corner... Luger with a rollup... 2 count.
- Spivey gains control back with kicks to the gut of Luger.
- Luger comes back with a vertical suplex... Both men are down...
- Spivey gets up first and scoop slams Luger down... Spivey goes all the way to the top rope and connects with a twisting elbow drop... 2 count.
- Spivey with a swinging neck breaker... 2 count.
- Head scissors on the mat by Spivey... Big boot by Spivey... 2 count.
- Spivey looks for the pile driver, and after a few blocks by Luger, he connects... 2 count.
- Luger gets up and he is pumped... Luger begins to no-sell punches and he delivers right hands of his own.
- Spivey with a belly-to-belly suplex... 2 count.
- Spivey with a rear chin lock... Luger is fading... But on the third arm raise... He begins to get up...
- Luger with elbows to the ribs... Spivey with a Japanese arm drag...
- Spivey with a shoulder block and he charges towards Luger, Luger drops Spivey gut first onto the top rope...
- Luger with right hands... Luger goes to the middle turnbuckle and connects with a flying clothesline...
- Luger with a power slam... He signals for the Torture Rack... Spivey sends Luger to the outside...
- Luger sunset flips back into the ring but Spivey connects with a right hand...
- Both men go down after a double attempt of a clothesline...
- They're on their knees and begin to trade right hands...
- Shoulder block by both men... Luger gets up first and goes to the top rope... Spivey catches him and looks to slam him down but Luger rolls through into a cover... 1-2-3.
- Your Winner: And still WCW United States Heavyweight Champion: Lex Luger via pinfall on a rollthrough.
- Tony is with Grizzly Smith and Nikita Koloff to present the New United States Title. Koloff congratulates Luger, and is about to give him the title until Koloff hits Luger on the head with the belt... Wow...
- Koloff says that he realized that there was one title he has never had... the World Title... He says that the Championship committee wants him to prove something to them.
- Koloff is still bitter from losing the US Title to Luger... 4 years ago...
- For the WCW World Tag Team Titles: The Freebirds (Garvin and Hayes) w/ DDP Vs ©Doom (Simmons and Reed) w/ Teddy Long
- DDP gets on the microphone and puts himself over... DDP introduces "Big Daddy Dink".... which is a road manager of the Freebirds... Dink (aka Sir Oliver Humperdink) an overweight biker guy...
- Simmons and Hayes start things off... and Simmons takes Hayes down by the hair... And that occurs again.
- Simmons with clubbing blows to the back of Hayes and he connects with a spine buster slam... 2 count.
- Simmons runs into a left hand.. Hayes with a running bulldog... 2 count.
- Hayes with chops... Simmons comes back with a power slam. Garvin comes off the top rope and Simmons catches him with a power slam... Dink, Garvin and Hayes talk things over.
- Garvin gets the tag, and he wants Reed in the ring. Reed gets the tag and Garvin delivers a few right hands... Reed with a short clothesline...
- Garvin with a sunset flip... 2 count.
- Hayes gets the tag in... Reed with a gorilla press slam... Hayes tags in Garvin.
- Reed goes for another gorilla press slam on Garvin but Hayes connects with a left hand... Garvin falls onto Reed... 2 count.
- Reed comes back with a back breaker on Garvin... Reed with a double arm suplex... 2 count.
- Simmons gets the tag and Garvin goes down after a double elbow... Simmons with some head butts to the arm of Garvin.
- Garvin is sent to the outside.. Reed comes over and slams him down on the floor... Hayes was taunting Simmons in the ring.
- Simmons with blows to the back of Garvin... Simmons rams Garvin into Reed's boot.
- Reed comes in and ducks too soon... Garvin connects with a DDT.
- Reed tags in Simmons... Simmons with a HUGE spine buster... 2 count.
- Simmons with another power slam... 2 count.
- All four men are fighting in the ring. Reed has something around his fist... and accidentally hits Simmons... Garvin gets shoved onto Simmons... 1-2-3.

- After the match in the ring, Simmons and Reed are fighting... Reed has brass knuckles and begins to viciously attack Simmons repeatedly... Doom has officially broken up, it looks like.
- Jim Ross is with a twelve year old, who won a sweepstakes... And he is really nervous... Why do they do this to kids?
- Footage of Flair connecting with a middle rope knee drop to the back of Pillman's head...
- The cage is lowered down... to begin... WAR GAMES!!!
- WAR GAMES: Ric Flair, Sid, Larry Z., and Barry Windham Vs Sting, Brian Pillman and the Steiner Brothers
- Brian Pillman and Barry Windham start things off... Pillman with a flying clothesline...
- Pillman pulls himself up by the cage and dropkicks Windham down... Pillman this time with a hurricanrana.
- Chops in the corner by Pillman...
- Pillman fakes a cross body and connects with a missile dropkick.
- Windham ducks a cross body... Pillman with a low blow... Pillman sends Windham head first into the cage... Repeated head rams into the cage... Pillman begins to rake Windham on the cage...
- Windham is busted open... Pillman with a jaw breaker and he begins to bite Windham...
- Pillman with hard right hands... Pillman goes back to biting Windham...

- Windham goes head first into the cage again...

- Scott with a power bomb on Larry... Sid clearly talking to Rick about the upcoming move... as Scott comes off the middle rope with a clothesline.
- Scott sends Sid into the cage...
- Sting with a Stinger Splash on Flair... Scorpion Death lock by Sting on Flair...
- Sid with a hammerlock power slam on Pillman...
- Sid sends Pillman shoulder first into the corner... Larry head first into the cage...
- Pillman places a knee drop to the groin... All of the baby faces have figure fours on the heels.
- Sting with a gorilla press slam on Flair onto the top of the cage... and then slams Flair down.
- Sid with a big clothesline on Rick...
- Rick with a clothesline on Sid...
- Sid and Windham with a double clothesline on Rick.
- Larry is being choked out by Pillman but won't give up.
- Flair with chops on Pillman... Pillman fights back with chops of his own..
- Larry sent head first into the cage by Scott.
- Sid lifts Pillman up and drops him gut first down to the mat...
- Sid sets Pillman up for the power bomb and connects with two of them... The first one was brutal as Pillman landed odd on his neck.
- Here comes El Gigante (Giant Gonzalez)... Pillman is out cold... the referee calls for the bell... it's over.
- Your Winners: Ric Flair, Sid, Larry Z and Barry Windham due to Brian Pillman being unable to continue.
- Gigante carries Pillman to the back...
- The heels taunt the crowd...
- Nick Patrick is now interviewed as to why he called the match off.
- He doesn't want to be responsible for ending a man's career.
- Footage of Koloff hitting Luger with the new US Title is shown to end the show...
- The Good: War Games was really good... one of the better ones I've ever watched.
- The Bad: 6-man tag team match was nothing but arm drags it seemed.
- The Ugly: Sid Vicious not seeing the camera when talking to Rick Steiner about an upcoming move.
Overall: This was a very good PPV, which I originally had thought was going to be bad. It was surprisingly good...
