WCW Monday Night Nitro - Monday, September 11th,
1995
- Hogan and Luger headline this week's one-hour Nitro…
Luger, the man that clearly oversells and is not worth a world title (the WWF knew this), against Hulk Hogan, a man that clearly sucks overall.
- Pillman/Liger was the only
decent match from last week. I know Liger wouldn’t be on here since he is
most likely back in Japan,
but how about Pillman? Doubt it. This might be a snooze fest. Man, I can’t
wait to see some Guerrero/Malenko/Benoit action….

top turnbuckle and flips over Sabu and connects with a German suplex... 2
count
- Wright goes to the top
rope again, but Sabu also goes up top and gets on Wright’s shoulders and
they drop down and Sabu has Wright in a pinning predicament. 1-2-3.
- Your Winner: Sabu via a top rope rollup.
- After the match, Sabu
for some reason continues to attack Wright and grabs a table.
- Sabu sets
the table up in the aisle way and places Wright on the table. Sabu goes
up top and connects with a leg drop through the table.
- Nick Patrick, the
referee, decides to reverse the decision

Wright via a bogus reverse decision.
- Up next, United States
Champion “All I do are gorilla press slams” Sting battles
IRS Michael Wall Street.
- Mean Gene calls out Ric Flair
to come down for an interview.
- Flair disses Anderson because he stays home with his
family and kids instead of partying with the Nature Boy.
- Lex Luger walks down... and
simply says “Some things never change”.
- That was extremely...
odd.
- For the United States Title: (champion) Sting Vs Michael Wall Street

spoil the result of WWF RAW saying that HBK defeats Sid.
- What would you rather watch...? HBK/Sid

clothesline, and a running knee lift to the back of Wall Street.
- Sting with a Stinger
Splash in a corner on the back of Wall Street.
- Sting climbs up top
and connects with a flying cross body 1-2-3.
- Your Winner: Sting via flying cross body.

lift to the back, and sends Norton into a corner and begins to deliver
jabs.
- The Dungeon of Doom comes
out, Shark somehow comes in and is knocked out on the legs of Norton and
Norton can’t move. Savage climbs up top and connects with the flying
elbow drop. 1-2-3.
- Your Winner: Randy Savage via pinfall following the flying elbow drop.
- Afterwards, Norton and
the Dungeon of Doom argue.
- For the WCW World Title: (champion) Hulk Hogan Vs Lex Luger
- Luger shoves Hogan
into a corner and the crowd reacts.
- Hogan backs Luger into
a corner and gets a clean break, though Luger looked like he wanted to
punch Hogan.

hold, arm bar, taunt, and connects with a vertical suplex.
- Luger no sells, Luger
places Hogan in a side headlock, Luger with a suplex but Hogan no sells

cover 1-2… Hogan kicks out and begins to “Hulk Up”.
- Luger with a few
rights, and Hogan no sells them.
- Hogan with a few right
hands, big boot and leg drop… But the Dungeon of Doom come to the ring
and cause the DQ by attacking Hogan.
- Winner and STILL WCW World Heavyweight Champion: Hulk Hogan via DQ
- Mean Gene of course
comes down and Hogan says that match with Luger was the match of “his
life time”
- Both Hogan and Savage
accuse of Luger being associated with the Dungeon of Doom. Luger says
he’s not.
- Sting wants Luger
as a part of their Fall Brawl team since Vader has gone AWOL.
- Savage doesn’t want
him.. Hogan asks the fans… and says "Welcome to our team, brother".
- Luger accepts and is
now apart of the Fall Brawl team against the DOD this coming Sunday.
The Good: Norton/Savage wasn’t that bad… just the DOD
getting involved…
The Bad: Luger/Hogan was pretty bad along with the
reverse decision in the Sabu match.
The Ugly: Hogan saying his match with Luger was the
“match of a lifetime”.. Oh.. And Mongo’s commentary skills… He sounds retarded
to me.
