- We are live from Chicago for the best one-hour wrestling show on television today.
- Tonight: Sting/Shark, and Flair/Anderson in a Steel Cage.
- Mongo/Eric and Brain have Bears jerseys on with Brain having a question mark on his.
- Sting comes out and says that he is going to solve the problem between Luger and Savage.
- For the WCW United States Heavyweght Title: Shark versus (champion) Sting
- Shark attacks Sting with a few clubbing blows. Running power slam by Shark.
- Shark drops an elbow and hits a leg drop... 2 count.
- Shark misses a big splash in the corner. Sting with a Stinger Splash in the corner.
- Sting goes to the top rope and connects with a flying cross body... 1-2-3.
- Your Winner: And still United States Champion, Sting via pinfall with a flying cross body.
- Footage of Hogan being attacked last week.
- Sabu Vs Mr. J.L.
- Sabu attacks JL in the corner with a few clubbing blows. A few right hands and then a scoop slam.
- Sabu goes to the apron and connects with a leg drop over the top rope.
- Sabu springboards off the middle rope and connects with a heel kick... 2-count.
- Headlock by Sabu. JL with a spinning elbow. JL connects with a spinning heel kick sending Sabu to the outside. JL dives though the middle rope and connects with a suicide dive.
- Sabu with a sunset flip into the ring and he takes JL down with a spinning heel kick. JL falls to floor.
- Sabu connects with a senton splash to the floor onto JL. Sabu grabs a chair and connects with a running leg splash onto JL on the guard rail.
- JL reverses a suplex into the ring and connects with a German suplex... 2-count.
- JL with a running dropkick in the corner. Sabu sends JL chest first into the turnbuckle and he connects with a clothesline.
- Sabu springboards off the middle rope with a moonsault to the back of JL.
- Sabu places JL into the camel clutch but JL makes the ropes.
- Sabu goes up top and JL delivers a few rights and plants Sabu with a DDT off the middle turnbuckle... 2-count.
- JL goes up top but Sabu stops him and goes for a hurricanrana but JL hangs on. JL leaps off but Sabu catches him with a power bomb.
- Sabu places JL into the camel clutch. JL passes out.
- Your Winner: Sabu via submission with the camel clutch.
- Afterwards, Sabu connects with a sunset flip power bomb onto the floor on JL.
- The Three Amigos talk about Sting getting everything solved.
- Sting and Luger are in the ring with Gene.
- Sting calls Savage out to solve this problem.
- Savage wants Luger. Sting holds him back.
- Sting says that "Giant is winning the game".
- Savage asks why Giant hasn't chokeslammed Sting.
- Sting tells Savage to "shut his mouth".
- Sting says that if both men beat their opponents tonight, then they face each other.
- Luger Vs Meng, Savage Vs Kamala.
- Luger says that Sting is putting words in his mouth.
- Sting is sick of babysitting.
- Luger finally agrees to the possible match.
- Chris Benoit arrives: "WCW, where the big boys play".
- Disco is randomly dancing in the aisle way.
- Big Bubba Rogers Vs Road Warrior Hawk
- Rogers with a few hard right hands on Hawk. Rogers with a big splash in the corner.
- More right hands by Rogers. Rogers with more blows in the corner.
- Hawk sends Rogers into the corner, but Rogers slides to the outside and goes back into a corner and Hawk runs right into a big boot.
- Rogers charges and Hawk connects with a scoop slam.
- Disco Inferno is now on the apron and Hawk begins to tear Disco's shirt and Hawk attacks Disco.
- Hawk has been counted out.
- Your Winner: Big Bubba Rogers via count out.
- Gene calls Hogan out for an interview along with Jimmy Hart.
- Hogan is wearing all black.
- Hogan tells Gene and Hart to not talk.
- Hogan wants Giant but Gene mentions that Giant is barred from the arena.
- Hogan mentions how Vince is choking and his company is dying because of Vince's ego.
- Hogan says he is going to put Giant in his place.
- A monster truck arrives with the Dungeon of Doom in the truck.
- Hogan decides to go outside and fight Giant.
- Promo for Halloween Havoc.
- Cage for the Flair/Anderson main event comes down.
- Steel Cage Match: Arn Anderson Vs Ric Flair
- Arn with a few knees and Flair with a few chops and jabs in the corner.
- Arn takes Flair down with a back drop. Arn sends Flair head first into the steel and begins to stomp on the neck of Flair.
- Again, Flair gets sent into the cage. Flair with a few chops. Arn connects with a spine buster... 2-count.
- Replay from the commercial of Flair chopping Arn on the top and falling groin first on the top rope.
- Flair sends Arn a few times into the steel cage. Flair begins to scrape Arn against the cage and few hard rights.
- Arn sends Flair head first into the steel cage. Arn begins to scrape Flair head first against the cage but Flair comes back with a clothesline.
- Flair with a delayed vertical suplex. Pillman comes down and Flair punches Pillman off the cage to the floor.
- Flair is on the top rope and he ACTUALLY HITS a double axe handle.
- Flair with a knee breaker and he tries for the figure-four but Arn hits Flair with a hard right... 1-2-3.
- It appears that Arn had something on his fist... brass knuckles.
- Your Winner: Arn Anderson via pinfall after a brass knuckles shot.
- Afterwards, Flair comes up to the broadcast area and says that he wants both Arn and Pillman next week.
- The Good: Steel Cage match between Arn and Flair was pretty good... Disco Inferno possibly getting into some sort of feud with Hawk... Sabu and JL was pretty good, also.
- The Bad: Sting and Shark.
- The Ugly: Bubba and Hawk's overall match.
I personally don't like the idea of these Luger/Meng and Savage/Kamala matches where if Savage and Luger win they will fight each other later on at Halloween Havoc. It should just be Luger and Savage without this bull crap of qualifying matches to get there. I wouldn't be surprised if Luger possibly turns heel after some bad guy-type actions in his match against Savage. Not to mention that he does appear to be getting heat.
