WCW Monday Night Nitro - Monday, December 4th, 1995
For the early stages of Starrcade hype, it would appear that Savage/Hogan would be most likely headlining the event due to, of course, the controversy from World War III.
Flair and Luger could also be in the mix for a match at Starrcade, since Flair attacked Luger on the last edition of Nitro... Flair went right for Luger and blew right past everyone else.
The WCW/Japan organization must be doing something for the Starrcade pay per view, as Heenan continues to have a Japanese flag when seen on camera.
Let's see what happens on this edition of Nitro, shall we?
- We quickly open things up with the WCW World Heavyweight Tag Team Titles on the line from Phoenix, Arizona. - End of Nitro.
- The Good: Nothing.
- The Bad: The Tag Title match was just like the 9-18-95 match, at least to me... just a different ending. The main event was disappointing, also. It was the world's longest hammerlocks-and-punches match of all time.
- The Ugly: No reason for Charles Barkley to be with Flair, and Flair barely hyped up his matches for next week, or at Starrcade.
