WCW Monday Nitro - Monday, March 11th, 1996
- So there are a few matches announced for Uncensored in about thirteen days.
- Page will fight Johnny B. Badd, for seemingly his career, since Johnny lost the TV strap to Lex Luger. Yuck.
- Halloween Havoc, World War III, Nitro after World War III, Super Brawl and now Uncensored, each time Johnny has came out on top.
- Sting needs to find a new tag team partner to face the Road Warriors in the Street Fight at Uncensored. Who will he pick? Renegade? That was joke. But who could it be? Someone new? Someone no one cares about?
- Regal and Finlay has played out very well in my opinion. Regal plays the scared fellow pretty well. But, if Finlay is supposed to be the face, then he needs to not be so rugged. Or the fans will not get behind him. Unless this is supposed to be a heel vs. heel type of deal.
- So far, BM doesn't have a match. So far.
- No Benoit, no Malenko. Guerrero does have a match against US champ Konnan. And if Konnan is anything as good as he was on the last Clash of Champions, this match has the possibility of being the show stealer...or saver.
- http://colling1989.proboards41.com/v45index.cgi? For WWF, ECW and other promotion recaps. Tell your friends, and family, or just random people on the street.
- Alright since I got all of that out of the way, lets start with Nitro!
- Nitro video opening.
- Eric Bischoff welcomes me and the others watching to the "War Zone".
- Pretty sure that is new.
- We are live from Winston Salem, NC for one hour of WCW Nitro.
- Bobby quickly hypes up the strap match between Anderson/Flair/Sullivan against Savage/BM/Hogan. Also should note, this match will also have lumberjacks around the ring.
- Jim Duggan Vs The Giant w/ Jimmy Hart
- Does anyone honestly think Duggan has a chance in hell? Over or under two minutes? I shall time it. I will take the under.
- Duggan's right hands have zero effect on Giant. Giant with a few kidney shots.
- Damn, 56 seconds into the match and I can already tell this is going over two minutes.
- Giant rams Duggan back first into the ring post.
- Officially over two minutes.
- YES! Brian Pillman is in the crowd going nuts, and is being escorted out of the arena.
- Duggan gets The Giant down after a clothesline, but moments later is a victim of the choke slam at around the five minute mark.
- Your Winner: The Giant via pinfall
- Replay of The Giant's win.

- Steiner Brothers Vs Road Warriors
- Yes, you read that right, the Steiners are back in WCW and get a pretty decent reaction.
- Scott Steiner with a few nice looking suplexes on Hawk.
- Hawk comes back with a power slam of his own.
- Scott barely, no, actually he doesn't even connect with the dropkick, as Animal fell down way to soon.
- Hawk cleans house on both Steiner Brothers. Animal clotheslines Rick in the corner.
- Doomsday Device on Rick, Scott breaks up the cover.
- Scott clotheslines Hawk from the top, Animal clotheslines Scott from the top.
- All four men are down.
- Rick with the bulldog off the top on Hawk, Animal whacks Rick with the Spike, and Hawk picks up the win.
- Your Winners: Road Warriors via pinfall
- Gene comes to the ring and talks to the Steiner Brothers about taking the Nasty Boys' spot tonight, and showing up on Harleys.
- The Steiner Brothers say that they came back to WCW where the competition is.
- They say it's not over between them and the Road Warriors

- For the WCW World Television Title: (champion) Lex Luger Vs Alex Wright
- This was supposed to be Luger Vs Johnny B. Badd. Eric says that Johnny "wasn't up for it". Not sure what that is supposed to mean.
- Yeah, Johnny must be done with WCW, as Eric says "Johnny must have not been able to hang with the big boys".
- Wright with a nice dive right over the top rope to the floor onto Luger.
- Wright with a cross body out of the corner, seemingly attempts another one, but Luger snake eyes him in the corner.
- Wright comes back with a spinning heel kick for a near fall.
- Jimmy Hart grabs the foot of Wright when he is at the top rope, and Luger drops Wright throat first on the ropes. Luger picks up the win.
- Your Winner: And still WCW World Television Champion, Lex Luger, via pinfall
- After the match, Jimmy tries celebrating with Luger, but Luger seems to not be wanting any of it.
- Commercials
- Six-man Strap Lumberjack Match: Ric Flair/Arn Anderson/Kevin Sullivan Vs BM/Savage/Hogan
- The announcers continue to mention that Giant and Loch Ness are two of the lumberjacks.
- Fifteen seconds in the match, Ness accidentally hits Giant with a strap, and they brawl. That explains the constant announcement that they were in this match.
- The baby faces are in the control early on. With just generic strap shots and what not.
- Hogan ends the match with the leg drop on Flair to pick up the win.
- Your Winners: Hulk Hogan/Randy Savage/BM via pinfall
- The losers of the match cut a promo about Hogan or whatever having to face World Champion Hulk Hogan
- Anderson talks about having each others' backs.
- Flair wants to end Hulkamania...
- End of show
- The Good: The Steiner Brothers returning. Wright made the Luger match semi-watchable. Brian Pillman is awesome...awesome character.
- The Bad: Duggan actually lasting five minutes in his match against The Giant.
- The Ugly: My DVD messing up on several occasions.
