WCW Monday Nitro - Monday, April 1st, 1996
- Happy April Fools day.
- The joke of WCW pushing BM must be unveiled today. Good joke, WCW.
- Speaking of jokes, how about the booking of WCW with this Sting/Harlem Heat feud?
- Luger is forced to team with the Alliance To End Hulkamania at Uncensored, so Booker T takes his place in the match, in order to get a title shot against Luger and Sting.
- Sting accepts. They win the match. So Harlem Heat gets title shots against Luger and Sting, right?
- No. On this week's edition, Luger is facing Ric Flair for the World Heavyweight Title.
- Harlem Heat want their title shots tonight. Clearly anyone in their right mind would know that they wouldn't be able to get their title shot because one half of champions are in a match already, right?
- Again, no. Instead, what WCW has decided to do is this. Let's allow the Giant to become one half of the tag team champions for a night. For what reason?
- To get back at Kevin Sullivan, because the Giant made a mistake in choke slamming him on the last broadcast of Nitro.
- Also, has WCW completely forgotten about Hogan getting "screwed" over by Savage at World War III?
- That could have easily been built into a match already between the two, but no, they are a partnership.
- I just don't get it. Their seems to be nothing too interesting going on.
- I really, really hope that BM doesn't win tonight, the team can win, but not BM, he needs to stop. Soon.
- Also, changing the format for WCW Saturday Night. Considering it is a B Show with several jobbers matches, I will just do winners and losers. IF there is a good main event between two known men, that will be covered in-depth.
- Nitro will not be changing, neither will pay-per-views.
- A few quick plugs. http://colling1989.proboards41.com/index.cgi? For any reviews from any known federations. My WCW stuff will be posted their as well. WWF, ECW and several other promotions.
- http://www.nowlive.com/showid/24357, The Wrestling Dungeon. I will be on this web cast show discussing various wrestling things. July 16th is the first show that I will be on.
- Alright, on to the show already.
- Whoa, we open the show quickly with The Giant and Sting in the ring.
- The Giant w/ Jimmy Hart Vs Sting
- Eric Bischoff is saying that Jimmy Hart paid off Harlem Heat and The Giant, so that The Giant would fight Sting.
- I like it. This makes sense.
- Sting attempts a cross body off the ropes but Giant just absorbs the blow.
- Giant goes for a choke slam from the apron, but Sting manages to break free and dropkick Giant off.
- What the hell, Luger runs down and enters the ring, and the referee calls for the bell.
- Why? He didn't touch anyone. What crap.
- Your Winner: The Giant via DQ
- WCW Nitro Opening Video
- Interesting that we got a match before the opening video.

- Moments later, Hawk connects with a neck breaker for a near fall.
- Scott with a nice belly-to-belly suplex on Animal, but Saggs comes in after the tag and goes to work on Scott.
- All six men are going nuts on the floor brawling all over the ringside area.
- Their have been a lot of clotheslines and shoulder blocks in this match.
- Rick with a German suplex on Knobbs. Road Warriors are going to work on Saggs on the floor.
- Hawk dominates both Nasty Boys. Knobbs takes Hawk down with a running bulldog.
- Rick with a belly-to-back suplex. Knobbs goes to the middle rope, looking for a belly-to-belly suplex, but is knocked off by the Road Warriors.

- Bobby Heenan says that tonight will be his last show for Nitro.

- Anderson doesn't get any offense in on BM and Hogan, who take him down with a double big boot.
- BM with his finisher high knee lift on both Anderson and Sullivan, but neither man stays in the ring for a pin.
- Sullivan attempts to break up the count on Anderson, but accidentally elbow drops Anderson.
