WCW Slamboree '96 - Sunday, May 19th, 1996
- Alright, the time is here. WCW Slamboree 1996.
- Before I start the show, I'm going to make some predictions, based on how everything has been booked thus far.
- US Title Match: Konnan and Jushin Liger. I doubt we will see Liger after tonight for a little while. Konnan is the safe pick, so Konnan will retain. Even though he hasn't defended the title since around Uncensored that I know of.
- Dean Malenko defends his recently won WCW World Cruiserweight Title against Brad Armstrong. Considering Armstrong hasn't been pushed in five years, Malenko easily retains.
- Now, I am not going to predict every battle bowl match. That would take forever.
- I am just going to say that Ric Flair is going to win. Arn Anderson said that there isn't going to be a conspiracy at Slamboree. Which makes me believe that there will be. After all, it is the HORSEMEN.
- I know, you're shocked I didn't pick BM or Bobby Walker.
- As for the WCW World Heavyweight Title, The Giant will go over Sting, because Luger will screw Sting over. Accidentally, I don't think so. I believe Luger will finally become a full fledge heel.
- Time for a few cheap plugs, http://bigelow34.proboards99.com/index.cgi great forum.
- http://colling1989.proboards41.com/index.cgi? Wrestling recaps from a lot of promotions and independent promotions ranging from the eighties to present day.

- More drama coming.
- Tony, Bobby and Dusty talk about what just happened, along with everything else earlier in the night.
- End of show
- The Good: Liger/Konnan was decent.
- The Bad: The fact that none of the bigger names made it to the battle royal. Sullivan, Savage, Benoit, Flair, and neither of the Steiners or Harlem Heat. A weak battle royal for sure.
- The Ugly: Continuing the Sting/Luger drama, after what happened, Sting is going to start questioning Luger all over again. This will never end.
