- Ice Queen says Dusty reads my reports because this week he's clean shaven. He looks a whole lot better than last week.
- And here's a 'Hey' out to fellow Macho Man Fan MsMMadness, and here's to the elbow drop to the floor.
- Finally, have you taken a close look at the Heavyweight Championship Belt lately? They had a close-up of it a couple weeks ago, and the nameplate still said 'Giant!' Sad!!!!
- Weeyah on the muthah sheeyip... Lets Get It AWN!
- Billy Kidman beat "Das {Bracketlover}" Alex Wright with a rollover pin.
- Wright tried a belly to back suplex, failed, and Kidman rolled over on top of him for the 1-2-3.
- Kidman "house-a-fire" twice in the match.
- Chavo Guerrero Jr. beat Buddy Lee Parker with a Suplex to Pin combination.
- Buddy Lee Parker runs the Power Plant, but is still obsolete.
- Parker trying to generate heat. Failed miserably.
- Brad Armstrong beat Lenny Lane with a Semi-Armbar and Neck Wrench submission hold after a Russian Leg Sweep.
- Time to take a shower, do the dishes, wash the laundry...
- Tony S.: "If we had to give the rookie of the year award today, it would go to Bill Goldberg."
- Uhm, Tony, isn't that what you said a few months ago about Prince Iaukea?
- Dusty: "Brad Armstrong has won more individual regional titles than anyone in this program."
- Gene-O: "Attention Hotline Fans." HA!!!
- Konnan/Konan/K-Dog/K-Dawg beat Jim Powers (w/"Mr. Obsolete" Teddy Long) with the Tequila Sunrise.
- Dusty: "Larry, the notorious cheater he was... and still is."
- Tony S.: "Yeah. You ever play golf with him? Geez."
- The commentary is usually more interesting than the matches on these weekend shows. 'Tis about the only thing worth reporting.
- DDP beat Stevie Richards with a Diamond Cutter from a Full Nelson.
- Half of the action took place in front of Raven, who was sitting ringside once again.
- Raven stood up to stare down DDP, then Richards attacked DDP from behind.
- The match was a squash, except for that one attack from behind.
- Hour number two! The hour that set the standard for NOTHING.
- "Every Flight Attendant's Dream" Steve Regal beat Steve Armstrong with his Regal Stretch.
- For supposedly being a great, great mat technician, Regal only does knee lifts, European uppercuts and finger pokes to the eye.
- But Regal does wrestle a great, well paced and entertaining match.
- If Hogan is too tan, Regal is too pale, pasty and white.
- The Armstrong's are 1-1.
- "Newcomer" Mike Rapada beat Johnny Swinger with a Sunset Flip.
- This was Rapada's debut on WCW television. Who knows where else he's wrestled.
- Rey Misterio Jr. beat Hector Guerrero with a blown Hurricanrana.
- Rey's feet didn't grip Hector's head, so Hector had to do a heck of a job to sell it.
- Rey gave his mask to yet another kid who outweighed him by at least fifteen pounds.
- The Guerrero's are 1-1.
- Gene-O with Eddie. Eddie vs. Rey for the Cruiserweight Title at Halloween Havoc, which I'm attending. OH YES.
- Raven beat Mark Starr with a DDT on a metal chair.
- Raven: "I have not signed a contract with WCW. If I'm going to wrestle tonight, it will be with my rules... no disqualification."
- Raven throws a chair into the ring. Raven then dropkicks the chair into Starr. Then drop toe hold on Starr, and Mark goes face first into the chair.
- Yo Steve Raymond: The Giant is on the {Pro} tomorrow.
- "Crippler" Chris Benoit beat U.S. Champion Curt Hennig by DQ.
- Benoit had the early upper hand, wrapping Hennig's shirt around his neck and throwing Hennig around the ring, then out to the floor.
- Hennig attacked and centered on Benoit's left leg and knee.
- Benoit: Three gut-wrenches over the top in a row without letting go of Hennig.
- Konnan and Scott Norton from behind, and Benoit held them off for a while, and Pee Wee Anderson let the match continue until...
- The NWO finally "Stompin a mudhole" on Benoit.
- Norton gave Benoit a shoulderbreaker, Konnan hit his 187 then Hennig finished Benoit off with his Perfectplex as the nWo counted the 1-2-3.
- Benoit still has his trunks with the big "4" on it.
