WCW Saturday Night - Saturday, 11/01/97
- Halloween Havoc was a real let down. It ranked at about the level of Souled Out and Uncensored. Most of the matches either had no workrate to speak of or weren't wrestled very well. The only redeeming value was the marking out at MGM Grand's bar, which obviously was only done by those in Vegas.
- After Havoc was over, I was walking through MGM Grand's casino through the slot machines, and Curt Hennig and a woman were walking towards me. Being a kinda big guy, I took up as much room as possible and didn't give an inch, so when Hennig passed me, I made him move his shoulder out of the way so we wouldn't collide.
- Weeyah on the muthah sheeyip... Lets Get It AWN!
- Rey Misterio Jr. (or is it Mike Tenay) beat "Sleepless" Billy Kidman with the Hurricanrana.
- The Raven's Nest ran in after the match, but Rey took off.
- Yugi Nagata beat Lenny Lane with the Nagata Lock.
- Perry Saturn beat Chavo Guerrero Jr. with a submission hold.
- Another run in by Raven's Groupies.
- World War III will have another match between Hennig and Flair, with no disqualifications.
- Juventud Guerrera beat Bobby Blaze.
- Harlem Heat beat Steve Regal and Dave Taylor with a rollup pin.
- The match ended once with interference by Taylor, but Chris Adams came out and told Nick Patrick what happened. The match was restarted.
- Having a match involving all the British guys is kinda dumb...but fortunately, since this is Saturday Night, the angle's not going anywhere.
- Ray Traylor beat Vincent.
- Bill Goldberg beat Renegade with the Jackhammer.
- Alex Wright went into the ring after the match to confront Goldberg, but Bill turned around and flexed and Wright hightailed it out of there.
- In the scam of the century, Fit Finley beat Chris Benoit with a tombstone piledriver.
- Benoit came out in his Four Horsemen trunks, and everyone in the crowd was doing the Horsemen sign.
- K-Dog beat Johnny Swinger with a Tequila Sunrise.
- It's officially K-Dog, because when I asked "Konan" to sign his autograph, he signed it "K-Dog."
- The Steiners beat Wrath and Mortis with thier Super-Steiner Plex.
- Dibiase punched Vandenburg then Scott pitched him out of the ring.
- Hennig came out and yammered about how he's the best wrestler around and how he's going to retire Ric Flair.
- In the middle of his yammering, Hennig started to sing "I'm just too good to be true." Sad.
