WCW Sunday {Pro} - Sunday, 11/09/97
- Eddie Guerrero pinned Julio Sanchez following a frog splash.
- Public Enemy defeated Dave Heath and Todd Griffith when Rocco Rock pinned Dave Heath following a drive-by.
- Dave Heath looks like the result of a transporter accident combining Curt Hennig and Psycho Sid.
- Todd Griffith looks like the result of a transporter accident combining Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Rob Van Dam.
- Lorenzo pinned Tim Cheeks with a back suplex and a bridge.
- I don't recognize Lorenzo. He's built sort of like Fabio so, hence, I'm guessing, the name. Face like Buddy Landel. Hair like Joe Gomez. Anybody know his background? He's scheduled to be in the WWIII Battle Royal.
- Crowd is really behind Lorenzo. They were coached big time.
- Hector Garza and Lizmark Jr. defeated La Parka and El Dandy when Hector Garza pinned El Dandy following a nearly missed missile dropkick and a standing moonsault.
- Sonny Ono was out there as manager of the heel Luchadores. That should tell you how old this match is. And the announcers talk about Ono with absolutely no irony in their voice, even though Ono dumped the Luchadores weeks ago.
- The Steiner Brothers defeated Vicious and Delicious when Rick Steiner pinned Scott "Flash" Norton after Rick leapt off the top turnbuckle and nailed Norton with a bulldog.
- Theoretically, this was a successful title defense although it seems it was taped before the Steiners won the titles since they weren't wearing the belts.
- Right before the bulldog, Norton had a cover on Scott Steiner and stood up for seemingly no reason. Scott Hudson asked, "Why's he standing up?" Uh, he's standing up so Rick can bulldog him.
- Norton basically no-sold the bulldog. Immediately after he was pinned, he got right up and wasn't even fazed and started bitching to the referee.
- Hudson and Zbyszko talking about Internet rumors.
