WCW Worldwide - Saturday 11/8/97
- I'm one of those people who mailed Bill about the Bret Hart situation. After reading everything on the 'net (and I pretty much mean everything), I've come to the conclusion that's it work, designed to increase ratings and buy rates not just for this week, but till the next IYH, when his 30 days are up...It's him not saying he's going when he's been asked the last few days, it's the lack of WCW Hotline pick up on this story, it's how much info has gotten out about something that was probably only going to be known by a few people. I fully expect Hart to lose this weekend, then face Micheals on the next IYH in a Title for Carrer match, and win, suprising the "smart marks". (The people without the 'net will have assumed the correct result anyway, becase they didn't know about the contract situation.)
- Can some one clear something up for me? I've heard there's going to be a charge on watching some off the ECW stuff on 1wrestling.com. The problem is that some say it's going to be for everything, and others claim it'll just be for the live broadcasts. Does anyone know the right answer? Let me know.
- 5...4...3...2...1...squashoff...
- Ok, I woke up at 10:03, the show starts at 10:00...so I must have missed some clips..oops
- World War III Promo - Battle Royal, Flair vs Hennig
- Scott Hall w/Syxx over Mike Rapada by Outisider's Edge
- This is sooo sad...Do they actualy expect us to believe Rapada has a chance?
- I was close to flipping the channel
- Hall had a strange submission hold on Rapada midway through the match...even Syxx looked confused.
- This week in WCW Motor Sports...not being much of a racing fan, I'm gonna skip it...
- Harlem Heat w/Jacqueline beats the The Armstrongs by the Heatseeker
- FYI, Harlem Heat were faces and the Armstrongs were in heel mode.
- Booker T starts off on fire....didn't last for long.
- Right after Stevie Ray powerslams an Armstrong, they cut to the stands for no reason...strange.
- Booker T is later Face In Trouble and the Armstrongs get double crossbody blocked to set off a Stevie Ray Fire segment.
- Tony - "One of the best tag teams of the last five years, Harlem Heat will be on top agian" Just like to point that out after they way they've pushed him
- Zybsko, Raven Highlights from past Nitro's
- I say the N64 commerical for WCW vs nWo.. I've got to get it now...That's some nice polygon action...
- The exact same WW3 ad from a half hour ago
- Faces of Fear w/Jimmy Hart over Sumi Fuji and Shamiso Naga(sp) by the Goozle on Shamiso
- Hey, Tenay's joined the voice over..not that Tony stops hyping WW3 to let him talk much
- The story on Fuji and Naga (his name went by to fast to spell) is that they're Ultimo Dragon's students
- Both of the students were trashed by the Faces early on and in the middle
- If you got to see this match, you got to see just how good Meng is at no or barely-selling moves
- Mafia kick on Fuji as he tried to break up the Goozle
- After the match, the Faces started to talk to the camera, but then began chopping each other...not hard, just like they were out of things to say...
- Steve "Mongo" McMichael over Renegade by Tombstone Piledriver
- Since when doesn't the Renegade wear face makeup? He has sort of a Native American-Tatankaish look now
- I scanned the hands, no Super Bowl Ring found....
- Renegade missed a Handspring Elbow into the corner...and fell right into the end
- Bill Goldberg pinned Mark Starr
