- That's about all the news I have to report. Really, do I need any more? :-)
- Oh, wait - right before WCWSN came on, I saw an ad for Piggly Wiggly. That ruled.
- Match 1: Eddie Guerrero (w/Chavo Guerrero Jr.) pinned Evan Kourageous after the Frog Splash
- Scott Hudson promises late-breaking Bash news as Evan Kourageous runs to the ring.
- He'll be facing Chavo Guerrero Jr.'s favorite wrestler, Eddie.
- Chavo doesn't look as happy as he did on Monday or Thursday.
- Eddie with a chinlock, but Kourageous gets out of it with a drop-toehold.
- Some near falls for Kourageous, and Eddie complains to the ref.
- Eddie gets his revenge with a dropkick to the knee.
- Nice back-elbow from Eddie.
- Eddie plays to the crowd for some boos, and hits a belly-to-back suplex.
- Eddie tries to get Chavo to help him apply leverage with the abdominal stretch, but Chavo doesn't want to.
- Eddie goes outside and slaps Chavo, and Chavo doesn't like it.
- Kourageous hits some sort of crucifix-spin DDT, and a suplex for two!
- Standing powerslam from Kourageous.
- Eddie catches Kourageous on top, and delivers a Superplex.
- Eddie goes up top, and hits the froggy for the win.
- Eddie wants Chavo to hold the ropes open for him, and Chavo does.
- Mean Gene is in the back with Booker T
- Gene runs down the best-of-seven series for us.
- Match number 3
- Booker talks about the respect he used to have for Benoit.
- Booker says that if Benoit wanted the belt that bad, Booker would have given it to him, because Booker doesn't defend the belt, he defends the title.
- Booker blames Benoit for his loss of the TV title.
- Tonight's double main event: Dean Malenko vs. Chavo, Booker vs. Benoit III.
- Tenay talks about the power struggle between the Wolfpac, WCW, and nWo Hollywood.
- Match 2: Marty Janetty pinned Lenny Lane after the Showstopper
- Yes! Lenny Lane!
- Lane points out his six-pack.
- Lane's got the tools to be a big star. I hope he starts moving up the ranks. Hell, I just hope he gets a win this year!
- He'll be facing the "other" Rocker.
- Lane wants the fans to appreciate his physique.
- Lane with a hiptoss, and some posing.
- Janetty shows his appreciation by beating the tar out of Lane in the corner.
- Janetty with the Rockin' Chinlock.
- Lane with a split-legged facebuster!
- Lane runs Janetty from turnbuckle-to-turnbuckle.
- Lane poses, and only gets a two-count.
- Janetty turns a nice sunset flip into a slingshot to the corner.
- Lane spins Janetty with a clothesline.
- Lane breaks out the airplane spin!
- Lane ducks for a backdrop, and Janetty suplexes him.
- Kneelift and back elbow from Janetty.
- Janetty drops a fist for two.
- Lane eats boot as he charges the corner.
- Lane tries his forward Russian legsweep, but Janetty counters with a jawbreaker.
- Janetty follows with the Showstopper to get the win.

- Match 3: Hugh Morrus (w/Jimmy Hart) pinned Barry Horowitz with the No Laughing Matter
- Jobber Diety Barry Horowitz comes out to do what he does best - lose.
- The lucky wrestler this week is.....
- Hugh Morrus!
- Morrus is an impressive wrestler saddled with a sketchy gimmick. Much like Mortis and "Ringmaster" Steve Austin.
- Horowitz jumps on Morrus' back with a sleeper to start.
- Horowitz with forearms and headbutts.
- It's all Horowitz thus far.
- Horowitz locks on an octopus hold, and pats himself on the back!
- Morrus gets up while Horowitz is patting, and laughs at him.
- Morrus unloads with a big punch.
- Morrus hits a running clothesline.
- Hart: "This is no laughing matter now."
- Horowitz fights back with a kneelift, but it doesn't faze Morrus.
- Morrus stands on Horowitz's chest.
- Morrus clotheslines Horowitz, sets him up, goes up top, and hits the No Laughing Matter to crush Horowitz.
- Gene plugs his hotline.
- Do you think that the reason Mean Gene is bald is because he's got his head so far up his rear that his stomach digested his hair? Just asking.
- Match 4: Yuji Nagata (w/Sonny Oono) made The Cat submit to the Nagatalock
- Next up - Yuji Nagata vs. Kitty B. Badd.
- I really, really, don't like The Cat.
- Atomic drop from the Cat, who follows with a kick.
- Apparently, Nagata will be going back to New Japan in a couple of months.
- Oono chokes Cat against the ropes.
- Oono kicks the Cat on the outside, but the Cat has none of it.
- Cat threatens action against Oono, but Nagata attacks.
- Nagata gets his foot up on a Cat corner charge for two.
- Suplex from Nagata.
- The Cat sunset flips Nagata for two.
- Stiff kick to the back from Nagata.
- Anklelock from the Cat, and Nagata gets to the ropes.
- Nagata tries an armbreaker, and Cat turns it into a kind of reverse neckbreaker.
- Clotheslines from the Cat, who hits a fireman carry slam.
- Cat hits a spinning round kick, but fights with Oono instead of going for the pin.
- Nagata dropkicks the Cat in the back.
- Nagata then locks on the Nagatalock, with a leverage assist from Oono, and makes the Cat tap out.
- Kitty B. Badd says: "That was a baaaad match!"
- Mean Gene has Benoit in the back
- Benoit says it isn't about respect: it's about winning, and about the TV belt.
- Benoit says he doesn't want the belt handed to him, he wants to fight for it.
- Benoit says that Booker cost himself the World TV title, and calls Stevie Ray a whiner.
- We see footage from Luger going nWo Wolfpac.
- I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but the sound was horrible during this footage. Might have just been me.
- Match 5: Kidman (w/The Flock) pinned Bobby Blaze after the Seven Year Itch
- Yes! Kidman!
- Lodi sign: "Kidman Cruiserweight Icon"
- The rest of the Flock comes down with Kidman.
- Somebody I haven't seen in a while - former SMW star Bobby Blaze.
- Kidman scratches.
- Blaze with an armbar.
- Blaze is working well so far.
- Blaze sends Kidman outside with a back elbow, and Lodi goes to console Kidman.
- Blaze argues with Lodi, allowing Kidman to dropkick him in the back.
- Kidman snaps Blaze's neck over the top rope.
- Kidman with a slingshot legdrop.
- Kidman throws Blaze over the top, right at the Flock.
- Riggs slams Blaze on the floor, and Reese throws him back in.
- Blaze with a leapfrog right into a sunset flip.
- Sweet dropkick from Kidman.
- Lodi sign: "Flock Rules Saturdays."
- Lodi sign: "I Gotta Get The Itch."
- Kidman with a choke against the ropes.
- Blaze avoids a corner charge, and hits a leg kick.
- Kidman flips out of a belly-to-back suplex, and hits his springboard bulldog.

- Match 6: Saturn pinned Tough Tom (w/Mean Mike) after the Death Valley (Spicolli) Driver
- Woah! It's Tough Tom from Disorderly Conduct, making a rare singles appearance.
- The siren song brings out Saturn.
- Saturn starts frailin' on Tom in the corner.
- Avalanche back elbow from Saturn.
- Saturn ducks a clothesline, and hits a suplex.
- Bodyslam from Saturn, followed by a legdrop.
- Tom distracts the ref, and Mean Mike sends Saturn over the top.
- Mike runs Saturn into the corner post, and rolls him back in the ring.
- Tom tries to fight Saturn in the corner, but Saturn has none of it.
- Spinwheel kick from Saturn.
- Belly-to-belly variant from Saturn.
- Tom hotshots Saturn into the turnbuckles.
- Mike distracts the referee, while Tom puts a full-nelson on Saturn.
- Tom holds Saturn and Glacier runs in.
- Glacier tries a Cryonic Kick, but Saturn ducks and Tom takes the kick instead.
- Saturn then gives a Superkick to Glacier, and one for Mean Mike.
- Death Valley Driver makes it academic.

- Match 7: Brian Adams (w/Vincent) pinned Villano IV after a backbreaker
- Representing Villanos I through LXIX, it's Villano IV.
- nWo music brings out Brian Adams, along with The Most Useless Man In Wrestling.
- Interesting slip: when listing current stables in WCW, Hudson mentions the Horsemen.
- Adams is performing the "Wolfpac" sign.
- Woah! The referee for the match is former NWA wrestler Rocky King!!! Man, that's old-skool. That guy's 'fro used to rule.
- Adams runs through Villano with a shoulderblock.
- Villano tries a cross-body, but Adams catches him and hits a gorilla-press gutbuster.
- Adams with some stomps.
- Adams hits a backbreaker.
- Adams with a bodyslam, followed by a legdrop.
- Adams gets up from the pin.
- Villano with an ineffective comeback.
- Villano avoids a corner charge, and that has no effect on Adams.
- Villano goes up top, and Adams catches him in mid-air.
- Adams hits a Scott Hall fallaway slam.
- Adams sets up for an over-the-shoulder backbreaker, but drops straight down.
- And that's your match!
- Vandenberg's Odditorium
- Vandy's talking about Sting's choices.
- Vandy wants Sting to think about why his sworn enemies are trying to recruit him.
- Vandy says that WCW doesn't care about Sting, because Sting let them down.
- Vandy says that Sting was supposed to carry WCW on his back, but his title reign was a disgrace.
- I like Vandenburg. He's pretty articulate.
- Match 8: Disco Inferno pinned Johnny Attitude after the Swinging Neckbreaker
- The bald Johnny Attitude comes out.
- Disco fever!
- Disco's wearing his bellbottoms, and a white t-shirt.
- Tenay mentions that Kanyon may have been wearing a construction hat due to his old tag team, Men At Work.
- Attitude with a shoulderblock.
- Attitude hits a hiptoss as well.
- Disco hits a shoulderblock of his own, and a flying clothesline.
- Disco shakes his, er, booty.
- Disco kicks Attitude down in the corner.
- Back-elbow from the former TV champ.
- Disco with an armdrag.
- Disco charges out of the corner, but gets met with a powerslam.
- Attitude with a back-elbow for two.
- Attitude works Disco over in the corner.
- Attitude with a chinlock.
- Disco hulks out, and hits a sunset flip.
- Attitude with a snap suplex for two.
- Attitude hits a standing powerslam, and goes up top.
- Disco avoids the legdrop.

- Match 9: WCW World Cruiserweight Champion Dean Malenko made Chavo Guerrero Jr. (w/Eddie Guerrero) submit to the Texas Cloverleaf
- It's title time! Now up - the cruiserweight strap.
- Chavo comes out with Eddie. Chavo's a bit more confident.
- Eddie's doing it for grandma.
- And here comes Malenko!
- Malenko comes close to acknowledging the fans.
- Nice series of moves and reversals to start.
- Chavo flips out of a belly-to-back suplex, and hits a drop-toehold.
- Eddie's telling Chavo to cheat.
- Chavo tries a monkey flip, and the Tornado DDT, but Dean throws him off.
- Chavo with a sweet springboard bulldog for two.
- Chavo jumps on Malenko's back, but Malenko slams him down.
- Chavo with La Mahistral for two.
- The ref stops Dean from punching Chavo against the ropes, and Chavo uses that opening to beat on Malenko.
- Chavo and Eddie argue while Malenko recovers.
- Chavo slaps Malenko, which just pisses Malenko off.
- Spinwheel kick from Malenko.
- Malenko hits a fireman's carry gutbuster.
- Chris Jericho comes down and tries to get the belt, but Eddie wants it too.
- Meanwhile, in the ring, Malenko has slapped on the Texas Cloverleaf for the win.
- Malenko then chases Jericho to the back.
- Eddie is in the ring, blaming Chavo for the loss.
- Chavo wants a slap, but Eddie won't do it.
- Eddie's scared of the maniacal Chavo, and leaves the ring.
- Match 10: In Match Three of the Best-Of-Seven series, Chris Benoit (2) pinned Booker T (1) with a bridging German suplex
- Time for match number three of the bests-of-seven series!
- Chris Benoit makes his entrance first.
- Yes yes yes....no no no.....
- Hudson says that Benoit wants to win the TV belt for the first time. Instead of the two title wins he got that they don't acknowledge.
- Benoit attacks before the bell.
- Benoit pounds on Booker in the corner, kicking him to the mat.
- Booker avoids a hiptoss, and shoves Benoit away.
- Big bodyslam from Booker, and Benoit takes the low road.
- Benoit locks on an armbar.
- Standing side kick from Booker for two.
- Benoit fights on a rope break in the corner.
- Benoit gets his boots up on a corner charge.
- Booker hits two backbreakers in a row, shades of Benoit.
- Benoit avoids a Harlem Sidekick, and Booker goes over the top rope.
