WCW Worldwide - Saturday, 5/30/98
- I want to say one thing before I get to the report:
- I like Booker T and Chris Benoit. I like their feud. I like this best of seven series idea, but it doesn't fit well with the feud. If they go the distance, it'll be (at least, I may be missing a few) the eleventh televised match between the two in the last three months! There is too much of a good thing!
- My money on Booker winning the seventh game, er, match, when Stevie Ray interferes, Booker won't be happy, Ray will cost him the PPV match, those two go onto to feud and maybe Fit and Chris feud.
- Let's get on with the show...maybe it will make me stop worrying about the Bulls losing tommorow night...
- Disco Inferno over Johnny Attitude by Party Crasher piledriver
- Disco Fever, Disco Fever, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
- Amazingly, since last Monday, all of Johnny Attiude's hair has grown back!
- Don't you wish they had something for Disco to do?
- Okay match....Disco did a lot...Johnny Attitude with a lot of punches and kicks...nothing great
- Ernest Miller over Jerry Flynn by Feliner
- Well, this takes the show down a beat, don't it?
- Ever see that show, WMAC Masters? The choreographed fighting there is probably better than the choreographed fighting in this one...
- A couple good kicks (by Flynn, of course), but otherwise, this was not a pretty match...
- Two week old Nitro Replay
- High Voltage over Damien & Cyclope by Voltmeter (Powerbomb lift, Top Rope clothesline combo)
- Hmm...doesn't seem like they just randomly threw together two teams, does it? Should be interesting how this one works out...
- Haven't seen Cyclope lately anyplace...I wonder how old this is...
- It doesn't...let's not try this again, okay?
- The only high point was Voltage's finisher...better than any of their other moves...
- Super Calo over William Worthy by (top rope) hurracanrana
- We've got quite a show this week, don't we?
- The backstory on Worthy is that he's from the Powerplant...hmm...doesn't look like it...
- These two work better than the last match...
- Some nice moves...and a missle dropkick set up the finish...okay...
- Lee Marshall w/the Dueling Guerreros
- Chavo's more nuts than ever...he acts like he's the biggest Eddie fan in the world
- Eddie's a little scared...
- Chavo's having fun with this angle...
- Brian "I stole Bret Hart's Push, HAHAHAHA!" Adams over Bobby Eaton by tilt-a-whirl slam
- AAAAAH!
- This was soo bad...sums up this week, don't it?
- At least this was quick, under two minutes
- Next Week: Chris Benoit, Fit Finley, Jim Duggan and Bill Goldberg....the suckiness of the last two just about even out the greatness of the first two, on paper...
