WCW Saturday Night - Saturday, 08/08/98
- Hi again folks, welcome to a two-hour edition of Saturday Night!
- As is the case with Saturday pay-per-views (the last one was WCW/nWo Souled Out), tonight's show will overlap the countdown show and run right to the start of Road Wild. Of course, tonight's show is little more than a two-hour advertisement with some wrestling visuals.
- I'm three weeks behind angle-wise, so bear with me if I'm a tad clueless in tonight's report.
- Now onto the show...
- Chris Adams vs. Jerry Flynn
- Tenay begins the PPV hype by insisting that the Leno match is part of the headline news. I'm hoping he's referring to the Headline News Channel, in which case he was merely confusing Time Warner entities.
