WCW Worldwide - Saturday, 8/8/98
- I'm really not in to Worldwide this week...or lately. I
don't know why...maybe the garbage to actual wrestling
ratio has been too high or something. Whatever the case,
if you're looking forward to long play-by-plays this
week, you're not going to be happy.
- Really, I should only have to put as much effort
in writing these matches as the wrestlers did
wrestling them. That ain't much this week.
- Hugh Morrus over The Gambler by No Laughing Matter
- The moonsault was good...the rest wasn't.
- Vincent over Frankie Lancaster by the nWo (Cobra) Clutch
- I'm trying to block this match out of my mind...
- Jerry Flynn over Judo Suwa by a spinning kick
- Actually a good match...but after the last one,
I'd have given up.
- Sick Boy over Hardbody Harrison by the Cure
- Bulldog/Anvil over the Armstrongs by the slowly moving
powerslam
- [Insert your opinion on the two Hart Foundation
members move to WCW here]
- Is it just me, or are the Armstrongs (Scott,
Steve and even Brad) showing up a LOT less than
they used to? I used to remember them showing up
a lot more often on Worldwide and {Pro}.
- Next week, we've got the master of cheap face heat Jim
Duggan, TPE and Alex Wright
