I was watching DirecTv's Backstage Blast and Kanyon said he talked to Raven's mom and a friend of his and they are sad that he has given up. So Raven's friend from Philidelphia is coming to help cheer Raven up.
About last night's Monday Nitro....why exactly did security run in on the Bam Bam, Nash, Goldberg fight? It was an official fight, nobody appeared to have any "international" objects, nothing that I could see that would DQ....so was their any logic at all to the security break up or was it just another random display of WCW's distaste for logic? For once, just once, I'd really like them to carry out an actual superstar match like that without some silly excuse. It would have been so incredible if they had just let them fight. Why must WCW forsake me?
FYI: The "steers and queers" comment by Scott Steiner on Nitro is a quote by the DI in the movie "An Officer and a Gentleman". However, I think the state mentioned in the movie was Oklahoma.
