Double kudos to WCW for this edition of WCWSN. Not only does Jerry Flynn's minor push continue, he gets to do it by having one of Hogan's cronies job to him! Gee, if Joey Maggs was still around, perhaps the Man of 1000 Names would do the job for him as well? Nah. Bad news is the return of Erik Watts to WCW in general and WCWSN in particular. And who was assigned the duty of doing the job for him? One of the Luchadores, of course. Poor Silver King.Hey, does anyone know the status of Jim Powers? I saw him blow out a knee on Nitro a few months back against Wrath. Has he recurperated? Has he been let go by WCW (their usual course of action following an injury, unless your name is Randy Savage)?
Even though he wasn't on tonight's show, I like seeing Lash LeRoux finally getting a few wins on Thunder and a previous WCWSN. The cruiser division needs some new blood. Lenny Lane could be a decent contender, but they may have tarnished his reputation too much by constant jobbing.
