The only time I have heard the announcers refer to Alex's finisher as "The Wright Way" has been when he has down that bridge out of a German suplex. I believe that is what they are refering to.

Unlike you, who has to watch Thunder every week (my condolences), I was bored and decided to watch. I can't help thinking about how much lower they sink every week. I have no problem believing that Hogan is this stupid but from all accounts Kevin Nash is very intelligent. *shrug*
About the only thing that made this show bearable was my trusty Maxim magazine and the fact that I was watching it with my dad's fiancee, Tammy. Her comments were funny and indicative of WCW's complete lack of talent in the management and production areas. She asked me what the difference between the big two were and I told her that WCW was G-rated. Tammy then wanted to know why it was OK for Nash and Hogan to stretch the envelope to PG-13. She also remarked that they do more talking then wrestling and that their vignettes were very crappy and cheaply produced to boot. Tammy said that WCW must not have a lot of money by the looks of the show. I asked her if she's ever heard of a fellow by the name of Ted Turner :)
Seriously, who are they hiring to do their production, promotion, and sound? It's either got to be graduates right from school or (my personal theory) monkeys on acid. Either way WCW is a sinking ship and it's a damn shame. Later

I read your report on this past Thunder and you must've missed one thing. Did you notice during the Buff-Steiner vs. T-Mysterio match about halfway in it Sctiener went in the crowd to go after some fan who kept chanting'steroids' at him? Mr Personality struck again. If you have the match on tape, you can see in the background all the security guys going in the crowd to straighten it out. Shouldn't he be used to that chant by now?
Steiner probably got pissed when he realized the fans were selling Tic-Tacs instead.

Did you notice how much the Winston-Salem crowd was on Raven's side in his match against Dave Taylor? Cheers for Raven, and considerable boos for Taylor. Heck, they even started a Raven chant! I believe this response is a direct response to Fall Brawl (if you remember, also held in Winston-Salem), since Raven and Saturn delivered the only decent match of the night. I went, and can truly say there was better an old Jim Crockett show that came to my local high school in the '80's was far better than that crap. Anyway, good reports.
So much for those "face" Dave Taylor promos from a year ago or so... what the hell was the point behind those anyway?!? He'd act all like a good guy, then bitch at the fans and wrestle like a heel during his match. Oh, yeah, I forgot. WCW = No-Logic.
