Welcome to Saturday Night! Tonight's main event is Chris Jericho vs. Kidman
Mailbag:
- Bill Fluty from Wichita, KS offers his WCWSN comments:
  Bobby Eaton jobbing to Joe Gomez? What gives here? I was certain Bobby was going to get his first TV win in ages, but to be upset by Joe Gomez? I'll give points to WCW for having a bona fide upset on the card, but Joe Gomez? Why is he back? And why is he winning a match on WCWSN? Is Bobby Eaton that far down the ladder these days?
  Norman Smiley's back, but no Big Wiggle? Barry Horowitz always looks good losing, and helps his opponent look good as well. Disorderly Conduct shows up again (they are my favorite jobber tag team), but are absolutely squashed for the first time in a while. But this makes sense, as they are facing the current tag champs. Without the Orlando TV tapings, Disorderly Conduct may never win another match!
  With Nitro threatening to turn into a soap opera, and Thunder repeating half of Nitro, WCWSN may be the last real wrestling show going.

  It's bad: When you see Joe Gomez wrestling.
  It's even worse: When he is booked to beat Bobby Eaton. I wish they'd stop misusing him. Sure, he's a shell of what he used to be, but he's got some company loyalty with being in the NWA/WCW for so long.
We begin with shots of the cage being built
Eric Watts vs. Disco Inferno
- Watts begins with two hip tosses.
- Disco responds with forearms and a swinging neckbreaker.
- Disco continues with a back elbow.
- Watts slams Disco, then lands a powerbomb in the corner.
- Watts sweeps Disco's legs, then chokes him.
- Watts slams Disco, but misses a follow-up splash.
- Disco lands an elbow and a lariat.
- Watts lands a cobra slam.
- Disco bounces off the ropes and lands the Last Dance out of nowhere for the win.
  [Ed.: According to the announcers, the Chartbuster is now called The Last Dance. This is different than Disco's Last Dance from some two or so years ago, which was a reverse figure-four leglock.]
Scott and Mike ramble.
Damian vs. Al Green
- Green lands a shoulder to begin.
- Damian headbutts Al, then elbows him.
- Green slams Damian, then splashes him.
- Al continues with a double underhook suplex.
- Damian clotheslines Al.
- Damian climbs to the top, only to be hip tosses by Green.
- Green lands a shoulderblock from the top for the win.
Gene chats with Rey Mysterio, Jr.

Bobby Eaton vs. Fit Finlay
- The two take a long time to lock up.
- Finlay lands a leg takedown and applies a hold.
- Finlay lands a leg drop across Eaton's leg, then dazes him with forearms.
- Finlay slams Bobby across the apron.
- Eaton lands a neckbreaker.
- Finlay quickly answers with a fireman's carry slam.
- Finlay ends things with a Tombstone.

- Juvy briefly puts on Konnan's hat and sunglasses.
- Konnan lands a shoulder, but Juvy responds with headscissors.
- Konnan lands a hip toss and a bulldog.
- Rey and Psychosis are now in, with Rey landing a splash.
- Juvy lands a springboard dropkick.
- Psychosis takes advantage with a headbutt and a dropkick.
- Psychosis lifts up Rey while Juvy lands a leg drop from the top.
- Rey lands a backbreaker.
- Psychosis elbows Rey but misses a shoulder.
- Konnan is tagged in and cleans house.
- Konnan lands a German superplex on Psychosis
- Rey flattens Psychosis with a springboard crossbody.
- Konnan continues with a face jam, then applies the Tequila Sunrise for the win.
Nitro highlights
Chris Jericho has a chat with Gene Mean. Chris tells Saturn that the joke is over and asks him to "help me help you stop wearing that dress."
Meng vs. Hugh Morrus (w/ Jimmy Hart)
- Meng and Morrus brawl on the outside, then head in.
- Meng lands a series of chops and chokes.
- Morrus answers by splashing Meng three times in the corner.
- Meng no-sells and sidekicks Hugh.
- The Barbarian runs in, DQing Hugh.
- The Barbarian slams Meng and Hugh lands the No Laughing Matter.
- Outside, Hart tries a chairshot, but Meng applies the Tongan Death Grip.
- Meng fights off the First Family.
- The Barbarian picks up the steps and accidentally nails Hugh as the segment ends.

Chris Jericho vs. WCW Cruiserweight Champ Kidman
- Jericho enters.
- Ads.
- Kidman enters.
- Jericho chops Kidman and lands a lariat.
- Kidman lands a shoulderblock, then clotheslines Chris outside.
- Kidman lands a baseball slide, then sends Jericho into the rails.
- Back, Jericho lands a few boots and a suplex.
- Kidman lands a lariat.
- Jericho answers with a slam and a back splash.
- Kidman boots Jericho, then powerbombs him.
- Kidman dropkicks Jericho.
- Jericho catches Kidman and tries to apply the Liontamer.
- Kidman rolls up Chris instead.
- Kidman lands the face jam.
- Chris goes to the corner and grabs his chain.
- Saturn shows up and nails Jericho, DQing Kidman.
- Saturn lands an elbow, then lifts Kidman up to help him do a 'rana on Jericho from the top turnbuckle.
- Saturn tries up Jericho in a chain, then throws him out and chokes him to end the show.
- Mean Gene runs down the PPV card as we go.
