WCW Worldwide - Saturday, 4/10/99
- One Year Ago On Worldwide: Giant's match is shorter than Glacier's entrance, in different squashes. Glacier's Cryonic Kick is blown, of course. Disorderly Conduct wins a match. Psychosis beats Little Dragon, with Little Dragon blowing a move so bad, they had to use a crowd shot.
British Bulldog drops a hint about a possible WCW Hart Foundation. Booker T talks about Chris Benoit. And, in the main event, Konnan beats Hugh Morrus for the thousandth time, but doesn't use the 187 DDT.
- The new WCW symbol is in the into...
- Back to Kidman/Rey winning the tag belts from the Horseman, on the 3/29
Nitro
- They got the new Nitro logo going too...
- Tony "A lot of times, we run out of things to say", but Larry's got stuff to say about the
new tag team champs
- And, while Larry's talking (and I zone him out, as usual), they cut to Tony watching, and almost
mocking Larry.
- Uh oh, the new heel Schiavone is coming over to the Worldwide universe...
- Mean Gene with Konnan
- Konnan "The people, they be feeling me now..."
- Konnan talks about his feud with Disco
- Konnan "...Spring Stompede"
- Back to the 3/29 Nitro, as Flair, DDP and Hogan talk, and Sting
watches...
- Wow, the crowd is dead for DDP's entrance
- Still doesn't seem like DDP "just got mad" at the crowd, more like a heel turn that was rethought.
- Spring Stompede PPV promo
- Hogan vs DDP from the 3/29 Nitro
- I'm kinda tuning out the announcers, but Tony catches my attention by complimenting Hogan's work ethic.
- Their PPV Lineup
- Sting vs Hogan vs Flair vs DDP (no mention of Savage, but we know he's going be the ref.)

- Minton rolls out of the ring.
- Still a lot of smoke around the ring

- Minton gets back in the ring first, stomping Chavo as he comes back in

- Chavo with another corner whip, charges in with a forearm, but is caught by Minton and put on the top turnbuckle.
- Minton tries to go up, but get caught with a kick
- Chavo grabs his head, Tornado DDT for 3.
- Your Winner: Chavo Guerrero Jr.
- Nice match. I liked how they set up the Tornado DDT
- Mean Gene with Chastity and Hak.
- Gene "Always good to see you"
- Chastity "Of course it is."
- Hak talks some, hits him self with the Singapore cane
- Chastity shoots off the fire extinguisher, and calls Bigelow "The Beast with the Least"
- Scott Norton vs Jason Anderson
- Uh oh, they're saying that Scott Norton still thinks he's leader of the nWo. They also say everyone else thinks that, so maybe they'll forget about Norton still...
- Jason Anderson, in his debut match, comes out second, after Norton.
- Norton with headlock, off ropes, big shoulderblock
- Norton, pushes Anderson into the corner and gives him some hard chops.

- Norton picks up Anderson, and knocks him down with a hard chop
- Norton picks him up again and chops him into the neck
- Norton with a rope choke.
- Norton with a whip and misses a clothesline
- Anderson misses a drop kick (maybe not on purpose), Norton no-sells anyway.
- Anderson hits another dropkick, but it's still no-sold.
- Norton with a clothesline, huge powerbomb. Three count.
- Your Winner: Scott Norton
- The powerbomb is the Wendy's Big Slam of the Show.
- Tony and Larry wrap it up with some talk about Spring Stampede
- Tony "Where will Sting show up next? Will he be at Spring Stampede?"
- Sure hope so, or people are going to be wanting their money back.
