WCW Saturday Night - Saturday, 07/17/99
- Welcome to Saturday Night! Tonight's main event is Horace vs. Booker T
- The mailbag:
- Bill Fluty comments:
Thanks again for the WCWSN recap. I'm sure you are aware of the various
reports of WCW considering changing the nature of the show; Jimmy Hart
wanting to book it using the younger talent and those vets who are used as
cannon fodder on Nitro and Thunder. I say great, go for it. I really doubt
if the ratings would be affected much either, as WCWSN pretty much stays the
same. If nothing else, it will give some guys a chance to work the mic and
get more in-ring experience. Hey, WCW could also integrate a limited Women's
Division and show actual wrestling instead of T&A. Nah, it'll never work
with today's audience, but I'd like to see them give it a try.
