- I'm back, thanks to the holidays I've only missed doing one report and I'm sure you
folks are as eager as I am to see Elix Skipper job another match to Konnan, so let's do it.
- Match #1 Curt Hennig vs. David Sierra
- New name, same fat Mexican.
- Well it's my first report of the New Year so I'm not going to long story short this one.
- Tie-up, and an exchange of arm wringers and hammerlocks.
- Sierra gets to the ropes.
- Go-behind from Hennig, Sierra escapes with an elbow.
- Side headlock from Hennig.
- Sierra whips out, shoulderblock from Hennig.
- Hennig tries to cartwheel out of the way and Sierra hits him with a lariat.
- Hennig comes back with chops.
- Sierra starts to fight back with rights.
- Hennig reverses a whip and comes back with a high knee lift.
- Sierra ducks his head on a back body drop attempt and Hennig catches him in the Hennigplex.

- Well that was really not very good. I hope this isn't going to be a trend for the new millennium.
- We come back to Hudson and Tenay discussing our new commissioner. You know the guy that nobody has heard of except for the hardcore fans. At least he brought back my man Arn Anderson at least until Souled Out.
- Match #2 Lash LeRoux vs. Al Green
- If LeRoux wins this match does he get a World Heavyweight title shot?
- Green attacks Lash as he plays to the crowd.
- Green with a beatdown.
- Gorilla press slam all the way to the outside by Green.
- Green sends Lash into the safety rail.
- Green just pummels Lash back into the ring.
- Gut wrench side slam by Green for two.
- Short arm clothesline from Green for two.
- Half-crab by Green, but Lash fights his way to the ropes.
- Lash hits a sunset flip for one.
- Green re-establishes control with a lariat.
- Green is choking Lash in the corner.
- Avalanche body attack from Green.
- Whip to the opposite corner, Green charges into a boot.
- Lash charges out into a powerslam for two.
- Lash between the legs and a trip.
- Missile dropkick from Lash for two.
- Neckbreaker from Lash for two.
- Northern lights slam for two from Lash.
- Green escaped the Whiplash somehow, but we don't see it.
- Delayed vertical suplex from Green, but the big leg drop misses.
- Lash back in the control but he misses the Bourbon Street Blues.
- He sneaks in a dropkick and hits the Whiplash this time.

- Not a bad match, but the ending was a bit on the sloppy side.
- Match #3 Kid Romeo vs. Mike Sanders
- The lights should come up and Romeo's opponent would be there to beat the hell out of him.
- Sanders laughs at the test of strength, but goes for it anyway.
- Sanders hits a monkey flip for two.
- Victory roll reversal by Romeo for two.
- Chops in the corner from Romeo.
- Romeo into the corner, but he catches Sanders in a head scissors takeover.
- Plancha by Romeo on the outside.
- Cover by Romeo for two.
- High knees in the corner from Romeo followed by some chops.
- Romeo does his gay little dance and Sanders becomes my favorite wrestler by tagging him for it.
- Whip to the opposite corner and Romeo goes for another head scissors takeover, but Sanders hits a sweet sidewalk slam type counter.
- Standing moonsault by Sanders.
- Back in the ring Sanders covers for two.
- Snapmare and a kick to the face from Sanders.
- Sanders pulls one out of the Ric Flair book by pulling the kneepad down for the knee drop.
- Romeo reverses a powerbomb into a DDT.
- Sanders catches a kick, but Romeo hits an enzuiguri to break free.
- Romeo catches Sanders going for a leapfrog and hits the Rydeen bomb.
- Romeo comes off the top with a hurricanrana.
- Romeo *shudder* Recliner.

- What the hell? Are they just taking existing finishing moves and adding Romeo to
it? Next week it will be the Romeo Cutter, Romeo Valley Driver or how about the Jack
Romeo. I have a suggestion how about the Gay Little Dance Piledriver (GLDP).
- Match #4 Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko w/ Franchise vs. Villano IV and Villano V
- Douglas talks smack to the crowd and says that they made the sport what it is today and says they are bringing a mystery partner to Souled Out.
- Malenko and V to start things off.
- They trade armbars and reversals until Malenko stops that with a lariat.
- Irish whip into a standing back kick from V.
- IV tags in and reverses a hip toss.
- Saturn comes in long enough to distract IV from Malenko.
- Snapmare and a choke from Malenko.
- Saturn tags in with a slingshot body splash.
- Beatdown in the corner from Saturn.
- Malenko tags back with a double Irish whip and a double back elbow.
- Malenko covers for two.
- Vertical suplex from Malenko for two.
- Saturn tags in.
- Side drop suplex from Saturn.
- Saturn sets IV up on the top rope.
- Villano shoves him off and hits a body splash.
- V comes in with a hot tag.
- They are cleaning house.
- Stereo punches in the corner until Douglas sneaks in the chain shot to the face.
- Malenko locks on the Texas Cloverleaf.
- The Villano taps.

- Not a bad match, but with the talent in the ring it could have developed more.
- We come back to some more discussion about the addition of Terry Funk and his naming of Arn Anderson as his enforcer. And that's all I have to say about that.

- La Parka struts for the crowd and does The Thinker pose.
- Byrd takes early control with a lariat and some armdrags.
- A standing dropkick sends Parka outside.
- Parka catches Byrd as he tries to come back in.
- Whip to the opposite and Parka charges into a boot twice.
- Byrd charges out into a lariat for two.
- Powerslam from Parka for two.
- Missile dropkick from Parka for two.
- Scoop slam from Parka.
- Parka goes up top and comes down into a boot to the face.
- Byrd with a Sunset flip for two.
- Byrd with a beatdown.
- Whip to the corner, but nobody is home.
- Parka heads up top and hits a corkscrew enzuiguri.

- Not a terrible match. Adrian Byrd is really, really slow.

- Ah the first long story short of the new millennium. Feel proud guys.
- Long story short: Bizarre match since technically the bad guys are playing the faces in
this one. I don't know it's strange, things happen and Vito gets the pin with a
crappy twisting DDT.

- Better match than I was expecting, I'll give it that.
- We return to a discussion of Thunder and Harlem Heat dissension angle #347. Booker
T is once again mired in a crappy angle.
- Match #7 Booker T w/ Midnight vs. Chris Williams
- Hudson gives the guys in the back a coronary when he actually mentions the TV Title.
- Tie-up and a wristlock from Booker.
- Side headlock to a hammerlock from Booker T.
- Williams comes back with an elbow.
- Booker comes back with a shoulderblock and a spinning heel kick.
- Beatdown in the corner from Booker.
- Whip to the opposite corner reversed by Williams, but Booker floats over and catches
Williams in a urinage.
- Midnight stops Williams from beating a retreat.
- Poke to the eyes gains control for Williams.
- Irish whip into an inverted atomic drop followed by an Erik Watts standing dropkick.
- Reverse chinlock by Williams.
- Booker starts to fight out, but Williams takes him down by the tights.
- Irish whip by Williams, but he ducks his head and Booker hits the scissor kick.
- Break dances up and Booker hits a really nasty Spinebuster into a cradle.

- Good match, I haven't seen Booker wrestle a singles match in a while.

- Match #8 Disco Inferno w/ Marmalukes vs. Scott Armstrong
- Disco slaps Scott to start things off, but that ticks Scott off.
- Deep armdrags from Scott and a wristlock.
- Whip to the corner and Disco bounces out into a bulldog.
- Cover for two.
- Side headlock and Disco whips out of it.
- Disco sends Scott outside and the goons work him over.
- Irish whip into an inverted atomic drop followed by a side Russian legsweep.
- Cover for two.
- Disco with a hard whip into the corner followed by some boots.
- Disco with a choke hold and some rights to the head.
- Back elbow from Disco and he almost starts to dance.
- The boots in the corner from Disco.
- Scoopslam from Disco.
- Disco misses the elbow from the second rope.
- Scott is a house of fire.
- Big back body drop from Armstrong.
- Scott cleans up the mobbies.
- Disco hits Scott with the brass knucks from Vito.

- Match #9 Crowbar and David Flair vs. Dave Taylor and Steven Regal
- To show how out of touch that I am, I had no clue that Crowbar was Devon Storm.
- Flair and Taylor to start things off.
- Taylor takes quick control with some European uppercuts and a scoopslam.
- Vertical suplex from Taylor and Flair rolls to the outside.
- Taylor sneak attacks crowbar as he chases Flair around the ring.
- Taylor takes control again with a camel clutch.
- Crowbar tags in as does Regal.
- Crowbar reverses a wristlock, but so does Regal.
- Crowbar comes back with a big headbutt.
- Baseball slide dropkick and Crowbar follows with a trip into the guardrail.
- Crowbar hits a splash off the apron.
- Taylor comes and helps his partner. It's a big brawl between all four on the outside.
- Crowbar comes in to clean house.
- Storm pounding on Regal in the corner.
- Regal with a nice neckbreaker for two.
- Pump handle slam by Taylor.
- Crowbar hits a big belly to back suplex, but Taylor retakes control.
- Regal tags in and makes a wish.
- Knees and euro-uppercuts from Regal.
- Jawbreaker by Regal.
- Irish whip, Crowbar comes back with a big back elbow.
- Flair in quickly and then another quick tag to Crowbar.
- Slingshot legdrop by Crowbar for two.
- Crowbar up top, but Regal catches him a butterfly superplex.
- Flair tags in, but Taylor just kicks his ass.
- The Brits clean house.
- Taylor pins Flair, but the ref is distracted and Crowbar hits him with the crowbar
actually.
- Flair covers.

- Not a terrible match, at least David knows not to stay in the ring all that long.
- A decent episode to come back to. There were some quality matches and nothing
exceptionally stupid. Catch you folks next week.
