WCW Saturday Night - Saturday, January 22, 2000
-
Well this report comes out of one of the last bastions of warmth in Atlanta,
GA my dorm room. I am completely at a loss for words on how cold
it is here and I can't even imagine what it must be like in places that
actually get cold. Well at any rate let's see if the shockwaves of
dissent continue on into Saturday Night.
-
Also, Smiley was the winner of the main event last week. Much thinks
to AdeBomb250 for helping me stay up to date on that.

I can't believe that I am witness to the Outlaws first legitimate win.
-
YOUR WINNER: The Texas Outlaws via pinfall following a hangemen's
neckbreaker.
-
Post match they talk trash to Sid about not being afraid of them, so of
course Sid puts in an appearance for good measure and squashes the Outlaws.
For some reason the ref counts the pin after the powerbomb. Sid cuts
an inane promo about the man and the master and ruler of the squirrels.

Match #9 3-Count vs. The Total Package
-
Well 3-Count comes out to stick up my show again.
-
The Total Package comes out and becomes my favorite wrestler by breaking
up this crap.
-
Lex then proceeds to beat the crap out of 3-Count and they beat a hasty
retreat.
-
Uhm, I guess that's not really a match. The Total Package discusses
that he's actually the athlete of the 21st century. The rest of
the interview is pretty much crap and Lex covers why he is pissed with
Sting. Yadda Yadda Yadda.
-
Match #10 David Flair and Crowbar w\ Daphne vs. Pg-13
-
Well, long story short: Flair comes in and hits his three moves before
tagging in Crowbar who then tags in Flair to play the face-in-peril. Finally,
a hot tag to crowbar who cleans house. It turns into a four man schmoz
and then Wolfie D tagged crowbar with the hubcap, but before the ref can
cover David Flair tags Wolfie (ugh) D with crowbar and Crowbar covers for
the pin.
-
YOUR WINNER: David Flair and Crowbar
-
Well, that was a disappointing main event and with that I am out of here.
