-
Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs Kid Romeo

Hail (w/Jimmy Hart) vs "Worldwide Icon" Rick Fuller
-
Mene Gene talks to Jimmy Hart and Hail
-
More like: Mene Gene talks to Jimmy Hart about Hulk Hogan, while Hail is
in the picture.
-
Jimmy's not happy about Russo and Bischoff.
-
Jimmy says the future of WCW should be Hail, not Kidman.
-
Back to the announcers, who say that Hail's been hanging with the New Blood,
and might not get along with Hart and Hogan.
-
Back to the studio, we recap Bischoff and Russo's return
-
We see the show opening interview from Nitro
4/10
-
You've seen it, you've read about it, you don't care about it anymore...
-
Larry uses the Judas/Benedict Arnold line agian.
-
Explaining his shirt, Larry talks about being more anti-Bischoff/Russo
than with the Millionarie's Club
-
DDP Book Ad. WCW MasterCard Ad.
-
On to the Bischoff/Hogan feud
-
Some flea market guy's involved, but he's of no importance.
-
I wish I was just making that up, but they way it's presented...
-
Tommy Dreamer looked more important on Smackdown then Kidman is looking
in this feud.
-
Back to Nitro.
-
They must have worked hard to find replays that exposed that blade shot.
-
From the original shot, you can't tell unless you're looking for it.
-
Hogan's cut is pixelized to protect us from seeing the wound.
-
Hudson: "What's the true relationship between Eric Bischoff and Billy Kidman?"
-
Vince Russo gets to beat up on Ric Flair
-
Larry makes fun of Russo's promise not to be on television, and his appearances
on television
-
Back to Nitro
-
Selected lines from Flair's original monologue.
-
Scott Steiner gets more time in his speech.
-
Shane Douglas punking him out.
-
Flair challenging for a match.
-
The match, but more of the post match punk out, because wrestling's not
really important.
-
Hey, I think I'm bitter this week.
-
Don't have a clue why...
-
Before we go to the ring...
-
Go to www.wcw.com, the WorldWide section,
and do the askwcw@wcw.com thing, if
you want a questions answered on the air
-
We can ask anything we want to know.
-
Here I go, again...
-
Hail: Why do I have the feeling that you're more likely to be the next
Glacier, rather then Goldberg?
-
Bryan Clarke: You could've been Mike Awesome then, or Justin Credible now...you
really rather be teaming with Crush?
-
Michael Modest: Are we going to see you again?
-
La Parka: Or you?
-
Hail (w/Jimmy Hart) vs "Worldwide Icon" Rick Fuller
-
Fuller's tights say "The Fuller Effect"
-
We get no "Hail Warning" scroll.
-
You know he's going to get pushed, because his music isn't generic.
-
Fuller attacks before the bell, with chops.
-
Corner whip, but Hail comes out with a clothesline.
-
Either this crowd is the most pumped crowd in months, or they're big Hail
fans...or they're using the heat machine again
-
Hail with kicks, corner whip, corner splash.
-
Hail with a whip, head down too soon, Fuller with kick, chop, chop, whip
and a spinning side kick.
-
Fuller with the Legdrop, and a one-count.
-
Hail with a choke, slap to the face, corner whip, splash misses, kick to
the midsection, piledriver. That's it for three.
-
Your Winner: Hail (1:21)
-
Apparently, the move's called the Hail's Bells
-
Kid Romeo vs Chavo Guerrero Jr.
-
Romeo's turned heel since the last time I saw him, apparently.
-
Maybe it was part of the whole New Blood stuff.
-
Bell rings, they circle.
-
Lockup, headlock takedown by Chavo, Romeo out of it with a legscissors,
both to thier feet.
-
Lockup again, Romeo with a hammerlock, Chavo reverses to one of his own,
Romeo with a snapmare out, and then a clothesline.
-
Romeo with stomping, punch to the face, whip, reversed by Chavo, kick,
pumphandle fallaway slam, I think.
-
Chavo with a turnbuckle shot, chop, kick, chop, rake of the eyes on the
ropes, and then a Stun Gun from the top rope.
-
Chavo covers for a two count.
-
Chavo with a corner whip, follow charge, Romeo with a floatover, catching
Chavo's head between his legs, and using a headscissors to take Chavo out
of the ring.
-
Romeo to the top rope, flying clothesline to the outside. Romeo with chops
on the outside, whip to the guradrail is reversed by Chavo.
-
Chavo throws him back in, Romeo begs off, but Chavo hits him with a belly
to back suplex anyway. Cover, two-count.
-
Chavo with a chop, kick the midsection, whip, reverse powerbomb attempt
is blocked, and Romeo turns it into a bulldog.
-
Romeo gets to his feet, then staggers back to the mat. Cover, two-count.
-
Romeo with the chinlock/bow and arrow combination.
-
Chavo elbows out, off the ropes, under the clothesline, waistlock, push
Romeo into the ropes, who floats over when Chavo attempts the powerslam,
Chavo with a go behind, Tiger Suplex! Chavo covers, but only two.
-
Chavo with a corner whip, but Romeo ducks a clothesline, and grabs Chavo
in a double underhook, picking him up and dropping him near on his head.
-
Apparently, that's the Kiss Good Night.
-
It's only a two count, though.
-
Romero with chops, corner whip, flying splash hits corner post.
-
Chavo up top quick, Tornado DDT. That's good enough for three.
-
Your Winner: Chavo Guerrero (5:22)
-
We quickly cut away to a Nitro Girls ad for whatever reason.
-
Jung Dragons vs PG-13 and Frog
-
Okay, I still don't like PG-13
-
It's mostly because their outfits and their hair look so silly
-
I mean, when a guy named Frog is the normal looking one of the group...
-
But I'd be happy to have this as an extended Worldwide feud.
-
Jamie and Wolfie start off, with Wolfie attacking from behind, with a hard chop.
-
Whip, reversed, hiptoss blocked, clothesline ducked, and Jamie lands a
flying headscissors.
-
Jamie gets backdropped to the apron, but hits a shoulderblock to the midsection,
and grabs Wolfie with a bodyscissors to the floor.
-
JC attacks Jamie, knocking him to the floor
-
Kaz is in, and after a few hard kicks to JC, grabs him in a headlock
-
Kaz off the ropes, top rope Asai moonsault is ducked under, but Kaz lands
on his feet.
-
Kaz goes for something, but it doesn't go right, so he goes back off the
ropes, JC ducks down, Kaz with a spin kick that's ducked, and JC shows
us his martial arts poses again
-
Kaz responds by kicking JC in the face.
-
JC his the mat, Frog comes in to take out Kaz.
-
Frog celebrates, Yang's in the ring, chops, whip, reversed, blocked, punches
by Yang.
-
Yang whips Frog into the corner and does a Tiger Wall Flip.
-
It's the move where Yang runs into the corner, and up Frog's body, into
a backflip.
-
Yang tries to follow with a splash, but Frog moves out of the way. Bulldog
into a split legged face slam.
-
Frog tries for a cover, but gets dropkicked in the face by Jamie.
-
Jamie with a slingshot headscissors to the floor on Frog.
-
PG 13 with the double team on Jamie on the outside.
-
Yang and Kaz with stereo Asai moonsaults.
-
Frog and Jamie roll back into the ring.
-
Frog misses a clohtesline, and Jamie hits a flying forearm.
-
2 count, save by Wolfie D.
-
Wolfie D with a nice spinning Ligerbomb. 2 count, before Yang and Kaz break
it up.
-
JC Ice with a hubcap shot on Jamie while the ref is getting the other Dragons
out of the ring.
-
Cover, broken up at the two count.
-
Stereo whips on Yang and Kaz by PG-13, but both are susnet flipped.
-
Or at least that's what the Dragon's try, but Frog holds both of them so
they don't go down.
-
So, Jamie springboards off the top rope with a sunset flip of his own on
Frog.
-
Three three counts at the same time, and the Dragon's win.
-
Your Winner: The Jung Dragons (3:05)
-
The crowd really got into that at the end.
-
So did I.
-
That was a neat finish.
-
Larry and Scott hype Slamboree, and we end.
