- The interview Vampiro did with Tenay reminded me way too much of an interview Mick Foley did with Jim Ross a couple years back.
- If you watch the ambulance match closely, when Awesome goes for the powerbomb he almost legit dropped Sting on his head. That would have been nasty.
- Its called a wrestling match to start the show.
- This is the Hell in a Cell match where you have to handcuff your opponent to the cage walls.
- Vampiro comes down first. Is he acting goofy or scary? Only Vampiro knows for sure.
- Sting comes down and discovers Vampiro has used one of the handcuffs hanging on the cell walls to lock the door shut.
- Sting throws his bat on top of the cage and starts climbing.
- Vampiro climbs up also and they talk to each other for a minute. Maybe they are swapping make-up tips
- Sting beats on the roof of the cage and a section of the ceiling gives way.
- Sting drops the bat down and swings in much like a monkey.
- Grab the bat stupid!
- Vampiro ignores me and Sting gives him some weak looking kicks to the head before dropping in completely.
- Sting with some punches and a Stinger splash.
- Vamp takes over and tosses Sting headfirst into the cage wall. He then does a little mocking pose.
- Belly to back suplex followed by a spin kick from Vamp.
- Vamp is drawing some decent heel heat from the crowd.
- Vamp with a snap suplex and a legdrop. The announcers are talking about Russo instead of the match.
- Vamp wears Sting out with some kicks and then drops a knee into the "little stinger" if ya' get my drift.
- Hudson calls Vampiro Sting's most hated opponent ever. I can think of about a dozen guys Sting has feuded with more intensely and for longer than a month.
- Vampiro tries to jump from the top rope and get Sting with a 'rana, Sting countered it with a powerbomb however.
- Sting thinks he is Luger for a moment as he does three clotheslines in a row followed by a reverse atomic drop.
- Maybe he should consider copying someone with an arsenal bigger than 3 moves. We just saw an entire Luger match without a torture rack involved.
- Sting throws Vamp into the cage a couple times and then does the old cage match standard "cheese grater" maneuver with Vampiro's head.
- Madden sneaks in a food reference here. Big surprise.
- Sting shackles Vamp to the cage wall.
- Sting is your winner in 5:48.
- Post match Sting does some splashes on Vampiro who is shackled to the cage wall face first.
- Blink and you'll miss that sneaky Doug Dillinger unlocking the cage door.
- Sting hangs from the cage wall and kicks Vamp in the back of the head a couple times.
- Sting poses while Vampiro laughs.
- The cage starts to raise up and the lights go out.
- Look very carefully and you will see that sneaky Dillinger running into the cage to unlock Vampiro and let him down.
- The lights come back on and Vamp is missing.
- Hey I think I just figured something out. Since the ramp comes right down to the ring now I bet the wrestlers who "disappear" from the ring just walk to the back under that ramp.
- Sting wants to know where Vampiro went and I want to know why the baseball bat was never used. We all have questions but we don't always get answers.
- He just throws it on the ground. Violence toward luggage must be stopped.
- Here comes the Shane Douglas to slam the trunk on his head repeatedly.
- Can you imagine being at work and getting your briefcase from your trunk and having a co-worker do that to you?
- As Douglas runs away Clark pretty much just sits there on the ground and looks real pissed about it
- Is that Goldberg's truck hanging out back there?
- Rection asks for them to show him their war faces.
- I saw this movie...it was called Stripes.
- The other 3 members of M.I.A. make some faces. Any description I give it can't do it justice.
- Rection looks disgusted that they can't make a decent war face.
- Either that or he is counting the days until his contract expires.
- Rection decides he is the Skipper as he hits the other guys with his hat several times during this skit.
- Corporal Cajun says something that my translator doesn't understand.
- Hammer is now Major Stash.
- Chavo is now Lt. Loco.
- Chavo salvages the only funny part of this segment by perfectly reciting a line from Stripes "Anyone of you punks touch me or my stuff, and I will kill ya."
- Rent the movie if you don't get the joke.
- They have a new recruit, Major Guns.
- Yep she has some major bazookas on her.
- This is proof that alcohol should not be allowed at the booking meetings.
- Kronik are the champs now? I thought they just stole the belts.
- Adams has a mic and he calls out Douglas.
- He sneaks a 4:20 reference in.
- I will now refer to Vince Bischoff and Eric Russo forevermore as the Beavis and Butthead of WCW.
- Here comes Douglas. He refers to the crowd as "pieces of shit"
- Awwww, Buffy got suspended for 30 days. That'll teach him to assault people.
- Here comes The Wall. Apparently he has Douglas's ass.
- I am sure someone in the county jail is watching Buff's ass also, but not in a nice way.
- Madden with yet another pot reference.
- Some generic brawling with Douglas eventually fleeing the ring and leaving the Wall all by himself.
- The Wall puts Clark through a table conveniently set up at ringside.
- Now he blows a spot trying to put Adams through a table.
- The Wall splashes Adams on the table and finally breaks it.
- Clark and Adams basically no-sell it after about 10 seconds and start kicking the crap out of the Wall.
- Kronik lays the Wall through the announce table and completely destroy it.
- Now they drag his carcass back in for the pin.
- Your winners are Kronik in (3:32) via pinfall.
- Post match here come the paramedics to stretcher the Wall out of the building.
- The Wall of course destroys them because he is big and angry. Grrrrrr.
- Disco wants to be back with his friends and not part of the Mamalukes anymore.
- Butthead tells him whatever.
- Looks like they are looking for an apartment for DDP to move into.
- Here comes Funk followed by the Cat.
- Eric wants Funk to hand over the belt and retire.
- Funk tells him no and the Cat attacks him and starts beating on him.
- Butthead and Kimberme go back to looking for an apartment for Page while the Cat beats on Funk.
- They have a $1.25 between them.
- Norman has a great idea to make some money.
- In the background looms that Goldberg monster truck again. I read this book already. It was written by Stephen King and it was called "Christine".
- Here comes the Filthy Animals with some new music and a new entrance.
- Rey Rey looks like a mexican version of Eminem.
- They all have some plunder.
- "Finally the Juice has come back to Wiloxi"?
- Konan has the mic...shoot me now.
- "Oil of Olay, Arriba La Mazda!" Oh yeah he called Funk old also.
- Here comes Funk down the ramp while being beaten on by The Cat.
- A 3-on-1 generic beatdown with weapons takes some time up.
- Rey Rey climbs to the top with a chair and does a double legdrop with it on Funk's face.
- Now they put the chair on his head and Juvi prepares to fly off the top rope.
- Here comes M.I.A.
- Lt. Loco flies over the top rope into the ring and nails Rey Rey.
- Now the heels get beatdown.
- Here comes Disco Inferno and he's on fire (so to speak).
- Rey Rey with a bronco buster on Lt. Loco.
- Here comes Booker T.
- Rock bottom for Disco and a spinebuster for Rey Rey
- Juvi gets brought back in and creamed with something I'll call "what a maneuver"
- They roll Funk on top for the three count.

- Here comes Major Guns.
- She gives Funk a little Mouth to Mouth.
- A white limo arrives at the arena and here comes an angry looking Ric Flair.
- "Goldstine" can be seen lurking in the background looking for a victim.
- Next week: Funk goes over the entire WCW roster to retain the title.
- He says he has no idea where Beavis is.
- After Flair leaves Butthead tells The Cat to go warn Beavis that Flair is on the warpath.
- Candido says they are the first couple of sports entertainment.
- He challenges any other couple to a match for the belt.
- Here comes Crowbar and Daffney.
- Crowbar and Candido start off. Candido with a halfway decent headscissors takedown.
- Here comes Miss Hancock
- Them are some real long legs.
- Crowbar with a nice gutwrench suplex.
- Both men to the top rope and Candido comes out with a superplex.
- Diving headbutt from Candido gets 2 but Daffney makes the save.
- Tammy foils a suplex attempt from Crowbar and rolls him up for a 2 count.
- Candido tries to slam Daffney but she kicks him in the nuts and gives him a DDT. She only gets a two.
- The women are trying but the spots look slow and awkward. This match is turning into a train wreck.
- Tammy with a swinging neckbreaker on Crowbar.
- Crowbar slingshots himself over the top onto Candido but only gets a two count.
- Crowbar and Candido outside the ring. They throw a chair at each other.
- Crowbar is holding the chair and has to wait for Tammy to hit the chair with a baseball slide dropkick into his head.
- She then gives him a weak looking chair shot he sells like a trooper.
- Double suplex on Crowbar gets a two count.
- Daffney with a bronco buster on Tammy.
- Miss Hancock with the mic is calling out to Tony. She says she is going to dance for Tony on tonight on Nitro.
- We all get distracted including Crowbar who starts banging his head.
- Crowbar gets jumped from behind by Candido but ends up nailing him with a front face suplex.
- That was a manly bump.
- In the ring Tammy hits a stunner on Daffney which she no-sells.
- Tammy gets rolled up from behind by Daffney for the three count.
- Your winner and new Cruiserweight champion Daffney (5:19) via pinfall.
- Post match the ref hands the belt to Crowbar, who hands it to Daffney to put on him.
- She thinks about it and decides she is the champ.
- Nothing against Daffney but there goes another belt right down the toilet.
- Crowbar keeps waiting for Daffney to put it on him but that ain't gonna happen.
- Here comes Ric Flair and he looks decidedly unhappy
- Flair beats on Crowbar while Daffney screams in the background.
- Flair clears the ring. WHOOOOO!
- He calls out Russo.
- Beavis is in the back telling them when he que's the tape to play it. Flair is screaming he better not do that in the background.
- We see Sting walking to his car which is on fire for some reason.
- Back in the ring Flair keeps calling out Russo and the tape from Flair's home plays.
- David, Daffney and Russo are invading Flair's house.
- David complains he never gets to ride in the limo.
- Flair is watching the tape on the NitroTron from the ring.
- Reid was Champ...David was Chump.
- Now in Flair's bedroom and Russo jumps on Space Mountain.
- Didn't we see this mistreated rich boy angle done before with some guy called Raven?
- Russo puts on one of Flair's robes.
- Reid's room is full of trophies, David lives in the basement in an unfinished room.
- Russo gives David a hug and tells him he loves him.
- The rest of the Flair family comes home, Beth, Reid and Ashley.
- Reid shoves Russo a couple times.
- Back in the ring, Flair looks pissed.
- Here comes David and Daffney.
- David calls him Ric and refers to Russo as Dad.
- Flair calls him down to the ring.
- Flair tells him tonight he is going to grow up.
- He calls him on the way he treated Arn on Thunder.
- David is freaking about being the son of someone famous.
- Daffney spends the entire time making faces in the background. She loves her job.
- Flair vs Jarrett for the world title tonight.
- Flair tells him at Great American bash its going to be David Fleihr vs Ric Flair.
- He tells him to pick out his favorite pair of Ric's boots for the match.
- Flair drops names and tells David he never wanted this to happen.
- He tells David if he wins he will retire.
- Jarrett sneaks into the ring and gives Flair a guitar shot.
- David suddenly gets real brave as Ric is laid out and starts pounding on him while Jarrett has him in the Figure four.
- He keeps screaming for Ric to get up.
- In the back Russo tells Liz he has some tough love for her.
- The House of Pain has been lowered again.
- They are trying to fix the hole in the roof.
- Russo brings Liz into the cage.
- Russo says Liz has been making a horse's ass out of him.
- Here comes Madusa and Chuck Palumbo is outside the cage.
- Security is around the ring and they lock the door.
- Russo makes a comment about "milking the moment"
- No Comment
- Russo keeps yelling at Liz and Palumbo has Apparently tossed the key into the crowd.
- Hey, why is that tech dropping into the ring.
- That sneaky Luger takes off his disguise.
- Russo throws Madusa at Luger who promptly puts her in the Torture Rack.
- Russo with a lowblow which Lex no-sells
- There wasn't really a match so I won't insult your intelligence by calling it one.
- Ohhh Sneaky again he pulls a cup out of his pants...
- Liz kicks Beavis right in the jimmy.
- Now she takes the cup from Luger and rubs it in Russo's face.
- They finally get the door open and here comes R&B security.
- The numbers game finally wins out and they start tooling Luger.
- Wolfpack music fires up and here comes Nash.
- Nine guys in the ring and they sell being scared of Nash.
- Russo and Palumbo grab Liz and flee.
- Nash proceeds to beat the hell out of eight security guys.
- Madusa is still in the ring and Nash is eyeing her.
- Here comes Awesome from behind. He starts tooling on Nash.
- They try and sell Awesome as the "Career Killer" Mike Awesome.
- Luger picks up a pair of bolt cutters and chases off Awesome.
- Nash refers to Awesome as "Eddy Money" and challenges him to a ambulance match.
- Awesome accepts.
- In the back Scott Steiner challenges Rick and Abbott to a fight in the back alley "because there are too many rules in wrestling".
- Rick and Tank head out to meet Scott.
- Scott and Tank start brawling and Rick gets jumped from behind by Scott's women.
- They hit Rick with 2x4s and run away.
- Rick comes back with a 2x4, Tank and Rick start beating the crap out of Scott.
- The face turn is complete.
- After some serious beating its the return of "Goldstine"
- The truck crushes a few cars before driving off.
- The heels flee and a shot of Scott shows he has a bloody mouth.
- This was another non-match.
- We get a shot of Nash backing the ambulance into the arena.
- Nash makes his entrance driving the ambulance in near the entryway.
- We see some stills of Kanyon going off the cage and DDP going through a table while Awesome comes down to the ring.
- They start off with some generic brawling..
- Nash with the big elbows in the corner.
- Awesome with some punches and a flying clothesline.
- Awesome with a chair but Nash kicks him in the gut.
- Nash beats on Awesome with the chair.
- Nash starts taking Awesome up the entryway.
- Awesome turns the tide with more punches
- Yawn
- Nash with 4 nutshots.
- Awesome comes back and slams Nash into the NitroTron frame.
- Awesome decides to set up a table and takes his sweet time doing it.
- DDP comes from behind and hits him with a Diamond Cutter on the ramp.
- DDP points Nash towards the table.
- DDP with the Scott Hall fingerpoint.
- Nash returns the favor for Sting from Thunder and almost kills Awesome when can't quite get him up into the powerbomb position.
- DDP has to help him with the powerbomb and they put him through the table Awesome set up earlier.
- The spot looked weak because DDP had to jump down and carry Awesome with him.
- The faces give Awesome a crotch chop and leave.
- The ref calls for the bell since Awesome is out cold.
- Winner Kevin Nash (5:50) by a knockout.
- In the back Bischoff says if you want something done you have to do it yourself.
- Hogan pulls up in his "cool car".
- "Clear!" how hard it is to fix these production mistakes.
- Apparently he was seen scratching his ass right before he went into the popcorn.
- Smiley and Ralphus get fired.
- Madden makes gagging noises and sells the fact he ate some of the Ralphus flavored popcorn.
- She takes her sweet time getting into the ring making sure to stick her shiny ass out.
- The camera man makes sure to get a close up.
- Bischoff loves us and it seems we love him.
- He challenges DDP to say match right there and right now.
- Bischoff talks about how he took it all away from Page.
- He tells him to bring some back up.
- Who else is going to turn on Page?
- Page calls Ernest Miller a pussy...cat and tells him he better call his momma.
- Here comes DDP, He promptly starts beating the crap out of The Cat and Bischoff.
- Rock Bottom for The Cat, and now he is tooling on Bischoff.
- Madden is crying about Bischoff getting hurt. Someone get him off my TV.
- Kimberme with a weakass chair shot. Page no-sells so The Cat nails him with a spin kick.
- Here comes Sid.
- Sid is trying way too hard to get the crowd to cheer for him. Heel turn a-coming.
- For some reason Sid makes DDP tag him before he will get in the ring even though there is no ref.
- Sid with a chokeslam.
- *yawn*
- Here comes Hogan and he cleans the ring of heels.
- Bischoff tells Hogan to stay in the ring because "he is a dead man"
- Stills from Thunder of the Filthy Animals beating on Horace.
- Bischoff says it will be Hogan vs Hogan.
- Horace doesn't look happy about this development.
- Hogan vs. Hogan vs Kidman in a 3-way dance.
- Bischoff on color commentary.
- Horace is standing in the ring doing nothing while Kidman and Hogan brawl..
- Crowd chants for Hogan.
- Hogan slingshots Kidman out of the ring and down the rampway.
- Hogan with the Apple Pie Strap begins whipping on Kidman.
- Bischoff tells Madden to shut-up. HA!
- Hogan is beating on Kidman while Horace stands around and watches.
- Hogan threatens Bischoff at the commentator table.
- Kidman with a nutshot on Hogan, Hulk.
- Huckster starts Hulking up.
- Kidman with another nutshot and Horace grabs Kidman as he tries to flee and throws him back in the ring.
- Hogan tattoos Bischoff and here comes the rest of the Filthy Animals.
- Both Hogan's have chairs and clear the ring of Filthy Animals.
- Here comes Torrie and Horace is getting an eyeful.
- Horace whacks Hulk with a chair from behind and gets the pin!
- Winner Horace Hogan (4:53) via pinfall.
- The Heels celebrate in the ring and beat on Hogan some more.
- Kidman gets mad when Horace and Torrie get into a limo together.
- Russo and David Flair come down to ringside. Russo is wearing one of Ric's robes.
- Nash is watching on a monitor in the back.
- Ric comes down to ringside wearing street clothes.
- Flair ambushes Jarrett before he gets to the ring and starts beating on him.
- Flair takes Jarrett outside and gives him some chops.
- Russo and David are at ringside doing color.
- Flair gets handed a chair from a fan and he promptly uses it on Jarrett.
- Russo on color consists of him saying "Come on Jeff" repeatedly.
- Jarrett crotches Flair on the ropes as he tries to get into the ring.
- Jarrett whips Flair into the turnbuckle and we get a Flair Flip.
- Jarrett now beating on Flair with a chair on the outside.
- Jarrett is working the leg with the chair.
- Jarrett suplexes Flair outside of the ring.
- Jarrett throws Flair in the ring and locks on the Figure Four.
- We get a couple 2-counts from the Figure Four.
- Flair gets to the ropes and breaks the hold.
- Crowd chanting "Jarrett Sucks" I think.
- Jarrett just wailing on Flair.
- Jarrett tries for the ten punches but Flair hits a reverse atomic drop and then a low blow.
- Another Flair Flip.
- Flair ducks the running clothesline and nails one of his own.
- In the ring Flair rolls up Jarrett for the pin! We have a New WCW Heavyweight Champion of the world!
- Winner Ric Flair (7:23) via roll up
- Post match the heels tool on Flair and Russo steals the belt.
- Wolfpack music fires up and here comes Nash.
- He takes the belt from Russo and walks down to the ring.
- Nash nails Jarrett with the belt.
- Nash powerbombs Jarrett through the ring. No really through the ring.
- Nash stands over Flair and Ric gets ready to fight him.
- Nash gives the belt to Flair and raises his arm in victory.
- Russo has the literal cow as Flair's music plays.
- In the back Eric promises someone he is talking to on a cell phone that He and Vince will be a on a plane Wednesday at Noon.
- Shane Douglas is there with him and talks about underestimating Nash.
- He tells Shane he is in charge for Thunder.
- Prediction: Scott Hall will turn on Kevin Nash very soon.
- We fade out.
- Overall not a bad Nitro. We had more action and less talking than last week. If they keep it up maybe one day the entire show will be watchable again.
- Hopefully I'll get to come back and do this again in a few weeks.
The Good: Ric Flair won the belt in a clean win. More action this week and less talking.
The Bad: Too many non-matches. Daffney winning the Cruiserweight title. M.I.A. is going from bad to worse.
The Ugly: Terry Funk really needs to retire. Pleas don't try and have Tammy wrestle another match. Chuck Palumbo rubs me the wrong way. He reminds me of someone and I can't figure out who.
