- Good match, but the notion that Goldberg doesn't care about the belt is very disturbing.
- Because of said booking, I can't give this match any higher than...
- The Good: Good show this week! I could really get used to this Terry Taylor-led committee. Anyone who can make Tank Abbott and Perfect Event interesting deserves several points in my book. It's also nice to see the nightly angles get built to a proper payoff (Kanyon's book signing, for instance). What I enjoyed the most was that WCW is letting the wrestling shine through with more emphasis placed on workrate and clean finishes versus gimmick matches and cop-out run-ins.
- The Bad: Scott Steiner vs. Buff Bagwell. Even worse, the potential of "Iron Eyes" Codys, negative stars or lack of Greg Gagne noggin knockers (depending on who you ask) this wedding gown match will generate.
- The Ugly: Despite being in the twilight of his career in both age and skill, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan gets a much bigger pop than a good 85% of WCW's workers. I'm not trying to insult Duggan this time, but I'm trying to point out that WCW has a long way to go to get the fans to care about their workers. Shows like this will definitely help, though.
- And so we've come to the end of another edition of Who's Booking This Show, Anyway?, and it just reminds me to thank Terry Taylor, Ed Ferrera, Bill Banks, Glen Gilberti, Richard Vranch on piano and me Aldo saying goodnight. Goodnight.
