Have you ever been injured while commentating?
Tony responds:
Darrell, that's a very good question. First, you're from Pittsburgh, so you must know a lot about Mark Madden. But let me answer those questions. First of all, I'm going take you back to 1987, at the Forum in Los Angeles. I was the ring announcer when the Road Warriors were coming to the ring, and I was caught in the corner and Road Warrior Hawk decided to walk up the corner, up the turnbuckle pads, and he actually ran over me, and one of his spikes gouged me right here [under his right eye] and I had to have about three stitches right below the right eye. And also, we had a Clash of the Champions in the early 90s, and I was sitting ringside with Jim Ross when Cactus Jack spilled over the top rope, he landed on my arm, and sprained my arm, and of course, it was a great conversation piece going around my house and around my neighborhood that the hardcore legend himself, Cactus Jack, hurt my arm. So, those are the two ones I can remember, the injuries that I sustained doing professional wrestling over the years.
