- Announced at the beginning that Rick Steiner was in the building, but wouldn't wrestle.
- Bobby Eaton vs Barbarian
- Barbarian won with the big foot.
- Juvy/Ciclope vs La Parka/Psychosis
- Very entertaining, my personal favorite.
- The match went back and forth a whole lot.
- La Parka was pissing some drunks off with his hand expressions.
- Juvy pinned Psychosis for the win.
- La Parka nailed Psychosis with the chair and walked off in his snobbish way.
- Reese vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan
- Hacksaw was the definite fan favorite.
- In the middle of the match, Hacksaw slammed Reese on the time keeper's table.
- Reese was slow getting up and Hacksaw won with the pin after the 3 point stance.
- DDP vs Raven
- Just like Reese, Raven didn't receive a warm reception.
- The match was really good.
- Raven talked on the mic a little too much I thought.
- At one point, Raven got slammed on the time keeper's table and still came back strong.
- He hit the EvenFlo, but had to get back on the mic.
- DDP recovered and diamond cutterred him for the win.
- Scott Steiner vs Lex Luger
- "The Battle of the Brutes" as it was called on the radio.
- Scott Steiner was booed heavily.
- The first 5 minutes was showing off and posing. I think one woman fainted.
- Steiner had control a lot of the match.
- He was about get into a fight with a drunk man, but the man's wife held him back. Very funny.
- The match ended with Rick Steiner coming in for the DQ.
- Oh yeah, the time keeper's got smashed again. They had to replace it.
- Sting vs Kevin Nash
- "Main Event" Kevin Nash came out and did the survey. WCW won.
- The match was very good. The match swung back and forth.
- Sting got in a Stinger Splash and they battled outside some.
- Right as Nash went for the powerbomb, Luger runs back in and DQs the match. A few cups were launched. I guess cuz the bad ending.
- But wait! Sting grabs the mic and issues a challenge to a tag team match.
- Luger and Sting vs Nash and whoever he could find.
- Sting/Luger vs Nash/Scott Norton
- Scott Norton comes right out with the challenge that was issued.
- The match didn't last long. It ended with Sting putting Nash in the Scorpion Deathlock and Luger racking Norton.
- The crowd was going nuts. After Sting and Luger leave, Nash grabs the mic, ready to say something, when he got nailed in the side of the head with a full cup of beer (what a shot!)
- Nash got pissed and told the crowd if they wanted to throw something, throw some punches in the ring.
- He then told the adults to grow up and act like role models.
- Nash and Norton left without giving any fives to the crowd.
The show was pretty good. Buff Bagwell and Ric Steiner were scheduled, but Buff hurt his neck about 2 weeks before. The time keeper's table must have been the funniest part, cuz the ring announcer had to get the bell and a chair and sit next to Doug Dillinger everytime the wrestlers used it. I got a couple of beer baths, but it was worth it.
