I just wanted to let you know of a few things that happened at the Baton Rouge house show.There were Goldberg chants the entire night, even though his name was never mentioned. I can't believe how over this guy is.
The biggest pop for the night was when Kevin Nash ran out to help Luger, when Hall had interfered. And at the end of that match the crowd went wild. Don't these people remember that Nash was just the bad guy two months ago?
Hacksaw got a big pop. He wrestled in the Mid-South promotion in this area in the early 80s. Plus the USA chant was kinda funny considering Barry Darsow used to be Krusher Kruschev.
The matches were actually all very good. Even though the crowd could have cared less about the luchadore match. And Malenko/Jericho was absolutely fantastic. If WCW would just show these type of matches on Nitro more people might watch.
