By Ron F.
- Lodi vs. Gentleman Chris Adams
- Lodi has "Arkansas Sucks" and "Lodi Rulz" signs
- Slow match, lots of posturing and jawing
- Adams wins when Lodi goes for chair and Adams superkicks the chair into his head.
- "lWo" Damian and Ciclope vs. Silver King and Lizmark Jr.
- As Silver King walks to the ring, I am almost fooled by his stocky physique.
- Good, fast match with lots of high spots.
- lWo wins when Silver King turns on Lizmark
- Postmatch, lWo offers Silver King a spot and he accepts.
- Norman Smiley vs. Prince Iaukea
- When the competitors are announced, I am excited because it should be a good "wrestling" match.
- Smiley is playing heel, dancing and such.
- Good technical match, though a little slow, with some nice spots.
- Prince wins when Smiley goes for a DDT and reverses it into a Northern Lights Suplex.
- Intermission
- "The Cat" Ernest Miller vs. Kaz Hayashi
- Isn't it bad enough I have to watch Miller on TV, no, they send him to my state.
- Decent match, obvious that Hayashi is talented, too bad Miller isn't.
- Miller with the Roundhouse Kick.
- Oh yeah, Miller brought a broom to the ring and talked about sweeping the competition with it.
- Scott Hall vs. "Diamond" Dallas Page
- Big pop for Hall as he enters, HUGE POP for DDP
- DDP plays the crowd and comes within about 10 feet of me (box seats)
- Usual match, both men hitting their usual moves
- Hall gets DDP in the Edge, DDP slips out and BANG!!!
- After match, someone tells me that the Prince is in the lobby. I go out and talk to him. Spend most of the main event talking to Prince. He is a good guy, signs and autograph, I ask him about his TV title reign and current situation.
- Wrath vs. Luger
- Wrath and Luger in ring, Giant comes down with nWo shirt.
- Offers position to Wrath
- Luger attacks both men, they put a beatdown on him
- Enter Kevin Nash at full speed
- Wrath and Giant go to leave but Nash grabs mike.
- Challenges the "ladies" to a match
- Wrath and Giant vs. Luger and Nash
- Marked out pretty bad during this so don't remember the details
- Luger and Nash win when Luger racks Wrath.
- Post match Nash plays to crowd, comes to the edge of arena to the box seats within about 10 feet of me.
All in all a very good show. Solid matches and nice star power. Nash and DDP got by far the largest pops of the night.
