The Stabler Arena was packed with about only 1000 fans despite the crowd sounding so low. I came saying that the tapings wouldn't have any big stars appear and a bad show, but I was wrong. Show should have started 7:00 but Penzer got out at 7:35 and the bell rang and it all began.
- The Harris Boys over Rick Fuller and Chad Hart
- Dustin Rhodes over Bobby Eaton
- Vampiro over Kaz Hayashi
- Jim Duggan cut a promo... basically anouncing he is the new TV Champ. He found the title in the garbage after Hall and Nash trashed weeks ago on Nitro. Then Robert Gibson challenged Duggan for later tonite.
- Kid Romeo over Jaimie Howard
- Shane Helms and Shannon Moore w/Evan over Disorderly Conduct
- Jim Duggan over Robert Gibson in a TV title match
- Disco w/Mamalukes over Steve Armstrong
- The Demon over ?
- Buff Bagwell over Al Green
- TAFKAPI w/Paisley over Yung Yang
- Fidel Sierra over Barry Horowitz
- Bam Bam over Adrian Byrd in a Hardcore title match
- Tank Abbott over Villano IV
- Barbarian over Villano V
- The Mamalukes w/Disco over PG-13 in a Tag Title match
- Jim Duggan over Steve Regal in a TV title/Carreer match
- Shark Boy over Jeremy Lopez
- Sonny Siaki and Chuck Palumbo over Alan Funk and Ric Cornell
- Kidman w/Torrie over Elix Skipper
- Brian Knobbs over Dave Burkhead
- The Main Event saw Van Hammer over Lex Luger w/Liz by a DQ. Then after the match, Luger broke his arm.
A good show by Saturday Night standards. No Smiley or Crowbar, so that sucked, but they had big names like Luger, Buff, Kidman and Abbott. That's good for SN I guess, too.
Best pop:
- Kidman and Torrie
- Buff
- Disco and Mamalukes
- Duggan
- Shark Boy
Lowest pops:
- Luger (I cheered for him 'cause he was the biggest name here tonite)
- Alan Funk
- Regal
- 3-Count
- Harris Boys
So that's all folks. Thanx, Joe C.!!
