    I saw Sam Houston just the other day. He is playing the role of an Indian tag teaming with Charley Norris

• Scott Hudson and Larry Zybszko are this week's hosts...
• They're both happy about Flair taking charge, and everything that happened over "the last few days"
  • Larry says it's the biggest blow to the nWo ever.
  • Starrcade run down, with stills from all the matches (that they care to admit: No Norman nor nWo Tag)
  • Nitro highlights hyped for later, but now...
• Mene Gene with Booker T
  • Gene hypes Souled out, then calls over Booker T
  • Gene wraps up the whole Stevie/Booker angle in about 15 seconds.
  • Apparently, Stevie's been calling Booker, saying they'll never get "a person like me" another title shot, another belt..
  • Booker T is going prove everyone who doesn't think he deserves a title shot wrong.
  • He's going keep beating people till the the Committee is forced to give him a title shot.
  • Mene Gene list Booker's titles, 7 time tag champ with Stevie, "numerous" TV titles and "the US Title"
    • Someone reading too far ahead on the cue cards?
  • Booker T corrects him and says he wants to be the number 1 contender for the U.S. Title
  • He's only got love for his brother...
  • You know, I think I finally got while we've had 2 weeks of Stevie Ray free Booker T matches...the whole angle is gone. I mean, if Stevie ain't nWo, then he can't exactly be recruiting Booker, can he?
• Back to the lWo and the Cruiserweight Title
  • Larry: "I got a feeling Eddie is not having a happy New Year".
    • Ohh, that was bad...
  • Back to the post Starrcade Nitro, 12/28/98, as Kidman and Rey take on Juvie and Eddie (w/Senor No-Name).
  • Cut in half way, with Rey playing techinco in trouble.
  • Later, Flair, but next, Steiners title win

  • "Souls will be sold." They couldn't come up with something better than that?
• "Big Poppa Pump"'s Hot streak
  • Larry and Scott claim that Steiner's been on a hot streak ever since taking over the nWo.
  • Flash back to that 12/28/98 Nitro again, as Steiner beats Konnan for the title, midway in the match.
  • Back to the annoumcers, as they speculate if Lex Luger might have sold out to the nWo. Scott seems to think he has, but Larry says he's innocent till proven guilty.
• Back to Nitro again, and the Flair/Bischoff/Hennig situation.
  • We start with Flair's speech, almost in its entirety.
    • Most notabley, they took out Flair's line about how he'd die of a heart attack.
  • We'll actually see the match when we come back.

  • Gene incorrectly says this year is the last of the the century
  • Gene welcomes his "amigo", Juvie
  • Gene asks about the relationship with Eddie
  • Juvie said when he was growing up, Eddie was his hero, and he's the best wrestler ever.
  • Juvie says Eddie is taking care of the other lWo guys
  • Juvie says stuff in Spanish. Don't ask me.
• We go back to Nitro one more time, for Eric vs Ric II
  • Scott brings up the toxins, and figures that Eric did it.
  • This match is brought to you by Skittles. I guess that'll make you buy some.
  • We get the full match, wtih introductions.
  • And like during Nitro, we take a break when the Horseman take him back to the ring.
  • You know, watching the second time, Bischoff got no offense. The way it should have been.
• Larry and Scott wrap up.

  No exclusives this week. Second week in a row. Sigh. I'm sensing a bad pattern forming here. I'd wait till the week after the PPV, where they're just killing time for a week (1/27), till we decide they're gone for good. Let's hope not...a one week to 13 days delayed recap show isn't as fun as one with new matches.
