A quick peek into the mailbag:
- Mark W. has an update on a familiar face...
  
  I hate to burst y'all's bubble of thinking that Lee Marshall has left the planet. He hasn't. I was flipping channels, and turned it onto ESPN2. They were showing something called "AWF Super Classic XVII". It was an arm wrestling tournament with professional football players. As if this wasn't silly enough, who comes lumbering on the screen to interview one of the competitors? None other than Mr. Road Report himself, Lee Marshall. Maybe this was just his last stop before he Road Reported his chubby ass into the sunset.
- David B. has a note about Benoit's catchphrase:
  
  "Benoit promises that Malenko will feel the wrath of what Silent but Violent is all aboot."
  Silent but Violent? He's going to fart on him?
  Benoit finally tries to use a catchphrase and he picks one that is synonymous with farting. Someone should have a talk with that boy...
- Senator Penguin has a note on Disco Inferno's "friend":
  
  The young man who came to the ring to chat with DI in the middle of his match with Curt Hennig was the same one who was the head of the "Lodi Fan Club" in that "Nitro Party" promo (which I actually thought was pretty funny) which aired on the 8/23 Nitro. He subsequently became Lodi's obsessed stalker for a few weeks - and a bit of newsboard info stated that on one particular occasion, after rushing the ring during one of Lodi or Lenny's matches, he was beaten up by arena security, who had not been informed that this "obsessed fan" was part of a storyline (one which quickly disappeared).
  The only thing I've heard about this kid is that he is a graduate of Dean Malenko's wrestling school in Tampa. Either he's a promising young talent, or he has naked pictures of Jane Fonda. Either way, they seem pretty intent on getting him into some kind of angle.
Sid is in the back, telling a guy that when he gets a cue from Sid, he is supposed to put a tape in the video equipment.

Sid makes his way down the ramp
- Sid rants to the Outsiders about not being as dumb as he looks. Is he dumber?
- He said the Outsiders tried to screw him, but it didn't work.
- Now he wants to talk about Goldberg.
- Sid is going to prove that at Halloween Havoc, Goldberg said "I quit".
- Sid wants to show everyone on videotape, because videotape doesn't lie.
- It's Goldberg beating on Sid, and Goldberg turns to the ref, and you can hear Sid yelling "I quit" into the mic.
- Whatevah.
- Outsiders music comes on, and Hall and Nash make their way out.
- Hall has the US belt with him.
- Hall's wearing a Walter Payton jersey.
- Hall: "Hey yo."
- Hall asks if Sid's the US champ, then why's the belt "down here."
- Hall says he beat Sid last week.
- Sid says that Hall was supposed to lay down.
- Hall: "I don't lay down for nobody, because that's the way the cliq operates."
- Sid offers to fight Hall right there.
- Nash says that no Outsider hit him with a crutch.
- Nash tells Sid to call out Bret Hart.
- Hart's music hits, and Hart makes his way to the ramp.
- Hart: "Bill Goldberg is the US heavyweight champion"
- Hart says that he's going to come down to the ring tonight, get the belt, and give it to Goldberg personally.
- Hall: "Don't sing it, bring it."
- Hart walks toward the ring.
- Goldberg jumps out of the crowd and spears Sid.
- Goldberg gets on the stick and talks to Sid as Sid walks away.
- Goldberg offers an "I Quit" match to Sid.
- Goldberg offers a game of hide-and-seek to the Outsiders. They hide, he seeks, and he destroys.
Dinky and the Brain are at the announce booth, with the tournament brackets.
- Hart/Saturn, Smiley/Kidman, TP and Sting have both advanced due to injury, Benoit/Madusa, Hall/LeRoux, Buff/Vampiro, and Hennig/Jarrett.
- Sting vs. Goldberg at the top of the first hour.
- Tenay talks to Sting in the back.
- Sting talks about TP's games last week.
Liz brings TP in, and he's wearing a hooded Pacers sweatshirt and shades.
We see "Torgo" Flair get hit by Kim's car last week.
We see Kim arrive in the arena, and talk to Doug Dillinger
- Kim says that David Flair has been harassing her all week.
- She needs extra security.
The Outsiders are SITTING
- Nash has a manager's license.
Degeneration Filth is in the ring
- Gonnad hits the Catchphrases of Irritation
- Torrie's cold.
- Eddy talks smack to the Revolution.
- Rey Rey threatens to hump things.
- Revolution music comes on, and Dean Malenko and Asya come out.
- Malenko says Rey has a big mouth for a little punk.
- Malenko says that Asya could have Rey for lunch.
- Malenko proposes he and Asya vs. Rey and Torrie.
- Malenko: "Rey, you got a set on you? Are you still working that knee, Rey?"
- Rey insults Asya, and accepts the challenge.
Match 1: World Title Tournament Quarterfinal: Norman Smiley vs. Billy Kidman (w/Animals)
- "Screamin'" Norman Smiley comes out in full Indianapolis Ice hockey gear.
- Norm wants this to be a hardcore match.
- Tonight: Hall vs. Hart vs. Sid vs. Goldberg in a tornado ladder match.
- Brian Knobbs and Jimmy Hart come down ot the ring for commentary.
- Norm shoves Kidman a couple of times, but Kidman knocks his helmet off.
- Norm tries to throw the gloves down, but he can't do it.
- Kidman spanks Norm against the ropes, but Norm hits a low blow.
- Norm smacks Kidman up, and then hits an inverted powerbomb.
- Norm does the SMBU as Kidman talks to Torrie.
- Knobbs rants about Norman not being hardcore.
- Knobbs beats the hell out of Norman with a hockey stick.
- Knobbs rolls Norman back in the ring, and Kidman covers him for the pin.
Sting is in the back, looking for Luger
- Luger is in the laundry room with Liz.
- Torgo's in the house with a crowbar!
In the back, Kevin Nash is getting fitted for a rainbow turban
- Some riot police walk by.
Sting makes his way down
- Sting gives TP 30 seconds to show up in the ring.
- Liz makes her way down.
- Liz: "Sting, the Package wanted me to come out an apologize."
- Liz says that TP treasures their friendship, and would never do anything to hurt Sting.
- Sting puts his arm around Liz, and talks to her.
- Sting says Liz can be the female version of the Total Package.
- Sting tells Liz to call TP out immediately.
- TP's music hits, and he makes his way down.
- TP says he's here in friendship.
- TP tells Sting not to listen to the fair-weather fans.
- TP apologizes.
- TP says they need to mend the fence, because they belong together.
- TP says he loves Sting like a brother, and wants a hug.
- Sting grabs TP, and chokes him into the corner.
- Sting: "If you ever swerve me again, I'm gonna get you. I'll rip your throat out next time."
Kim walks into the dressing room.
- The lights go out, and TORGO SPEAKS!
- Torgo says: "Don't worry - you won't feel a thing"
- Damn, Dave. I wouldn't admit that.
Match 2: World Title Tournament Quarterfinal: Madusa vs. Chris Benoit
- Madusa comes out first.
- We see Evan Karagias falling victim to the Liplock last week.
- Benoit makes his way out.
- We see the top-cage headbutt from last week.
- Madusa yells at Benoit.
- Madusa with a hammerlock that Benoit reverses.
- Benoit wants Madusa to leave.
- Benoit shoves Madusa off again.
- Madusa unloads with some kicks as Benoit talks to the ref.
- Madusa with a frankensteiner.
- Benoit with a chop to the chest that sends Madusa to the ground.
- Evan Karagias starts fighting with referee Johnny Boone.
- Jeff Jarrett comes in to fight Benoit.
- Johnny Boone disqualifies Madusa for the outside interference.
- Jarrett says that this isn't the WWF, and they don't hit women.
- Madusa kicks Jarrett a couple of times.
- Jarrett says that he just screwed Madusa out of the tournament, and leaves.
Chavo Jr. talks to Russo
- Chavo says he wants his opportunity for winnning the battle royal last week.
- Russo tells Chavo that his "opportunity" in the company is selling Amway.
- Russo tells Chavo to get out of his office.
Jim Duggan is in the back cleaning the Powers That Be's toilet.
Match 3: WCW World Cruiserweight Champion Disco Inferno vs. WCW World Television Champion Rick Steiner
- This is the Mayhem match of the week.
- Cruiser champ Disco comes out.
- Disco doesn't dance his way to the ring.
- His opponent, the TV champ Rick Steiner.
- This is for the TV belt.
- Steinerline.
- The kid comes out to ringside, with what looks like a bucket.
- The kid's name is Tony Marinara.
- He says he's been carrying him since he and Glenn were kids.
- Tony M. says he wants his money.
- Steiner hits Disco with the bucket of concrete.
- German suplex from Steiner, and the easy pin.
- Tony M. says the concrete was a warning to Disco.
In the back, Sting is doing pushups in the mirror, and Goldberg's warming up.
Hall talks to the riot police
- Nash comes out dressed as the Grand Wizard of wrestling.
- Nash has powder to throw in people's eyes, chloroform, and brass knucks.
- Hall wants to make friends with Sid.
- Nash tells the riot cops to follow him.
Gene has the finalists for the Nitro Girls search
- Of course, everyone needs to vote for Ashley from Raleigh.
- They do a little dance routine.
- AC Jazz comes down to the ring.
- Jazz says it's time to get the girls out of the ring.
- Jazz says they're Nitro Girl wannabes.
- Jazz calls the tryouts sluts and skanks.
- Jazz is trying to sound street.
- Spice comes down and takes Jazz's mic.
- Spice says the girls have as much right to be there as anyone.
- Spice says "Bring it on, ho."
- They shove each other a couple of times, and yell.
- The rest of the Girls come down to pull the two apart.
In the back, Kim is hiding in the boiler room
- You can see Torgo pacing around behind her.
- Torgo: "My master needs another bride"
Dustin Yoda's music comes on
- It's the DustinTaker!
- Dustintaker "floats" to the ring.
- Hands of Fate! AHHHHH!!!
- You can hear people laughing in the background.
- As Jay said in Mallrats, "Fly, fatass, fly!"
- Dustintaker sounds like a hick.
- He tells everyone to take a good look at the crap he's in.
- He left the WWF because of gimmicks like this.
- Dustin: "I was Golddust, and Golddust was crap."
- Dustin says he just wanted to be him, but the Powers That Be said that Dustin sucks, and Dustin was boring.
- Dustin: "They've dressed me up like Uncle Fester to play trick-or-treat all year long."
- Dustin says that his new name is Seven.
- Dustin tells the Powers where they can stick Golddust, the outfit, and they can kiss his ass.
- Dustin says that the Powers fired Dusty last week.
- Dustin says that the Powers disrespected his father, the Rhodes name, and him.
- Dustin says that he's going to make their lives, WCW's lives, and TNT's lives miserable.
- Dustin: "Tonight, and forever more, you will never forget the name of......Dustin Rhodes."
Torgo continues to stalk Kim.
The Grand Nash, Hall, and the cops knock on Sid's door.
TP talks to Liz.
Match 4: Sting vs. Bill Goldberg
- Sting makes his way down.
- His opponent is Goldberg.
- They lock up, and Goldberg kicks Sting against the ropes.
- Sting locks on a sleeper.
- TP makes his way down to the ring, and Goldberg causes Sting to bump the ref.
- Liz has her mace.
- TP maces Sting with a tiny bit of mace, and Sting sells like he's had his eyeballs ripped out.
- Goldberg spears the blinded Sting.
- Jackhammer. Splat. Win.
Grand Nash & Co. talk to Sid
- Nash offers the riot cops to Sid.
- Rick Steiner demands that Sid make some time for him.
TP and Liz walk by Janitor Jim Duggan.
- TP steals the "Wet Floor" sign.
Kim comes up behind a security guy
- Of course, it's Torgo.
Vampiro and the Misfits talk to Tenay
Match 5: World Title Tournament Quarterfinal: Buff Bagwell vs. Vampiro (w/The Misfits)
- The Misfits attack Buff on the ramp.
- Vampiro hits an avalanche clothesline on Buff in the ring.
- Vampiro with a spin kick.
- Backbreaker from Vampiro, but he misses a twisting senton.
- Buff with a botched swinging neckbreaker.
- Buff takes out the Misfits on the apron.
- Vampiro with a crappy missile dropkick.
- Berlyn comes out and nails Vampiro with brass knucks.
- This allows Buff to hit the Blockbuster for the win.
- Berlyn and the Bodyguard beat up the Misfits and Vampiro.
- The !DOA comes out to put a hurtin' on Berlyn, since Berlyn let Bagwell advance in the tournament.
In the back, TP is laying on the wet floor clutching his knee.
- As we come back, an EMT is saying "Mr. Package, we can't find anything wrong with your knee".
Match 6: World Title Tournament Quarterfinal: Perry Saturn (w/Asya and Shane Douglas) vs. Bret Hart
- Saturn makes his way out first, Hart second.
- Hart is walking fine now.
- Shane Douglas joins the commentary.
- Hart works Saturn's arm early.
- Hart drops a leg on Saturn's arm.
- Saturn blocks a hiptoss with a clothesline, and hits a springboard forearm.
- Saturn starts to work the left leg.
- Saturn locks on a legbar.
- Tony has a note that the Revolution is banned from ringside during the Malenko/Asya vs. Rey/Torrie match.
- T-Bone from Saturn, but he misses a Lionsault.
- Hart comes back with a clothesline.
- Russian Legsweep from Hart.
- Douglas: "I've seen this before!"
- Pendulum Backbreaker.
- Second-rope elbowdrop.
- Asya gets on the apron as Hart applies the Sharpshooter.
- Shane hits Hart in the face with his cast.
- Saturn DVD's Hart, but Hart kicks out at two!
- Hart with a cross-body off the ropes, but Saturn tosses him to the floor.
- Dean Malenko comes out to beat on Hart.
- Benoit comes down to beat on Malenko.
- Saturn
- Saturn sunset flips into the ring on Hart, but Hart escapes and applies the Sharpshooter for the submission!
Kim tells the !DOA that she needs to see the Powers.
Nash does Johnny Carson's "Karnac" impression
- Nash: "The answer is 316"
- The question: The number of times the Undertaker has worked a PPV main event with Austin.
Booker T comes down
- Stevie Ray has been suspended by the Powers That Be.
- NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
- No more Fruit Booties?
- Booker's got a couple of things on his mind.
- They're Creative Control, and Jarrett.
- Booker talks to the "Punk Asses" in the back.
- Booker calls the three punk asses down, or he threatens to go back and get 'em.
- Booker says that since they suspended his brother, he'll suspend their damn life.
- Booker wants a Harlem streetfight right now.
Match 7: Harlem Street Fight: Booker T vs. Creative Control and Jeff Jarrett
- Jarrett comes down with Creative Control behind him.
- Jarrett gets a headset, and says that Creative Control will take care of Booker T.
- Booker gets the early advantage, but CC fights back.
- Booker backdrops one over the top and starts pounding on the other.
- Booker hits a double clothesline.
- Jarrett comes in the ring with his guitar.
- It allows CC to take over.
- A muscular black woman runs into the ring, and Jarrett hits her with the guitar.
- Jarrett and CC leave the area as Booker tends to the woman.
Booker and Asya walk, as do Rey and Torrie.
TP has ice on his "injured" knee
- TP says that he cannot compete tonight.
- Tenay says that the Powers That Be have said that if TP doesn't face Sid, he's out of the tournament.
Match 8: Rey Mysterio Jr. and Torrie Wilson vs. Dean Malenko and Asya
- Torrie isn't wearing an outfit that's good for bumping.
- Well, maybe bumping and grinding.
- Malenko attacks Rey's knee to start.
- Asya handcuffs Torrie to the turnbuckle.
- Asya with a nice vertical suplex on Rey.
- Asya does a Jericho pin for two.
- Double back-elbow from the Revolution.
- Mark Johnson is the referee.
- Rey dropkicks Malenko on the way down.
- Rey goes into the turnbuckles hard.
- Malenko gets whipped into Asya, who goes into the ring.
- Asya avoids the Bronco Buster.
- The two Revolution members crotch Rey around the post.
- Malenko locks on the Texas Cloverleaf, and Rey submits immediately.
- The Animals rush the ring to chase Malenko and Asya off.
- Rey's down and hurt in the ring.
Sid and the riot police walk through the back
- Dan: So which one is the Jerichoholic Ninja??
Kim is crying in the back
- Torgo's in the shower. Kim scampers like a squirrel.
Match 9: Sid Vicious vs. Total Package (w/Elizabeth)
- Sid makes his way out solo.
- Liz wheels TP out in a wheelchair.
- TP is on the mic, and says that he's severely injured his knee, and he needs to go to the hospital.
- TP says that with proper rest, he'll be able to wrestle in the title tournament next week.
- Sting comes down, moves Liz out of the way, and shoves TP to the ring in the wheelchair.
- Sting rolls TP into the ring, with the ice still on his knee.
- Sid beats on TP in the corner.
- Liz runs in to protect TP.
- Sid gently moves Liz out of the way, and continues beating on TP.
- Sid works the "bad knee".
- TP can't even run across the ring on an Irish whip.
- Sid with a big boot.
- The riot cops are out at ringside.
- Goldberg runs down, and the riot squad moves aside for him.
- Goldberg spears Sid.
- TP offers a hand to Goldberg.
- Goldberg helps him up, then spears him.
Match 10: Hardcore Match: Brian Knobbs vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
- Announced for Mayhem: Vampiro vs. Berlyn.
- The winner of this match faces Norman Smiley for the WCW Hardcore Championship.
- Norm joins the commentary table!
- Bigelow comes down, looking pissed.
- Knobbs gives Bigelow a can to start.
- Norm talks about the hygiene of the two men.
- Smiley: "Don't these people have dental insurance? [Bigelow] has been missing that tooth for years!"
- The two fight to the back, and Norman follows them, doing some commentary.
- Smiley: "Where is Doug Dillinger when you need him?"
- Knobbs chairs Bigelow in the back.
- Knobbs sets a table up, and throws Bigelow through it.
- Knobbs looks at Norman, and Norman starts screaming and saying "I'm just commentating!"
- Bigelow starts a comeback.
- Kimberly grabs Bigelow, and they run to the back.
- The ref counts Bigelow out, so Knobbs is the winner.
- A countout in a falls-count-anywhere match?
- Smiley puts Knobbs and Hart in trash carts, and pushes them to the parking lot.
Bigelow has a baseball bat, and is looking for Torgo
- Bigelow: "You want to pick on a girl? Pick on me!"
Match 11: Scott Hall (w/"Grand Wizard of Wrestling" Kevin Nash and Riot Police) vs. Lash LeRoux
- The Outsiders come out first.
- The Rajin' Cajun makes the second entrance.
- Sign: "Lash == Ratings"
- We see Lash beat Kitty B. Badd last week.
- Kitty will be out 3-4 more weeks.
- Hall throws the toothpick in Lash's face.
- Hall shoves Lash down.
- Hall with the shoulderblock armbar into the head-slap armbar.
- Lash flips out, hits a flying shoulderblock, and a back-elbow.
- Dropkick from Lash.
- Nash pulls out the powder and choloroform.
- Hall wants a test of strength, but pokes Lash in the eye.
- Hall beats on Lash in the corner.
- Avalanche clothesline from Hall.
- Hall chokeslams Lash, and does the Frankengoof impression.
- Hall continues to slap Lash in the back of the head.
- Hall locks on an abdominal stretch, and grabs the leg for more pressure.
- Lash gets choked on the ropes, and Nash hits him with a punch.
- Hall slams Lash.
- Hall eats boot on a corner charge, and Lash hits a double-axehandle.
- Running punch from Lash, who goes back up top.
- Missile dropkick form Lash.
- Hall ducks the Burbon Street Blues punch, and hits Lash.
- Lash tries a cross body, but he jumps right into a fallaway slam.
- Lash signals for the Edge.
- Hall hits the Edge, and covers Lash for the pin.
- Nash gets the riot squad in the ring.
- They send the riot squad to the back.
- One cop doesn't leave.
- Nash puts the powder in his hand, and goes to throw it at the guard.
- The guard knocks the powder into Nash's eyes, and takes his helmet off.
- It's Goldberg, if you can imagine.
- Goldberg spears Hall and Nash.
We look back at Hennig's "get pinned/get fired" situation.
Match 12: Curt Hennig vs. Jeff Jarrett
- Hennig makes his way out.
- His opponent - Jeff Jarrett.
- Hennig attacks Jarrett on the outside, then brings the action back in.
- Jarrett with a quick small package for two.
- Jarrett schoolboys Hennig for two.
- Hennig heads to the floor to regroup.
- Jarrett follows him, and Hennig starts to unload.
- Jarrett regains the advantage.
- Jarrett kicks Hennig's leg out from under him back in the ring.
- Jarrett works the knee.
- Creative Control comes to the top of the ramp.
- Jarrett continues to work the left knee.
- Jarrett tries the figure four, but Hennig kicks him off.
- Hennig with a running kneelift, and a running punch for two.
- Hennig shoves Jarrett into the ref.
- Hennig lands the Hennigplex, but the ref's down.
- Creative Control pulls Hennig out of the ring, and beats on him.
- CC puts Hennig through the announce table.
- The ref goes to count Hennig out.
- Jarrett doesn't want the countout.
- CC tries to throw Hennig back in the ring, but he won't go.
- The ref counts 10, and Jarrett wins by countout.
- CC finally throws Hennig back in, where Jarrett delivers "The Stroke", his reverse Russian legsweep.
Kim is jiggling through the back.
Kim walks to the ring
- Kim says she's finished running from Torgo.
- She says if he wants her, she's right here.
- Torgo walks to the ring with his crowbar.
- Bam Bam Bigelow runs out from behind, and attacks Torgo from behind.
- Torgo with a low blow, and he hits Bigelow with the crowbar.
- Kim jumps the rail to escape.
- She runs through the crowd as Torgo gives chase.
We go out back as Torgo stalks through the parking deck
- Kim is trying to get into her car
- She drops her keys as Torgo wobbles to the car.
- Kim gets the car open, and dives in.
- Torgo busts out the windows of the car.
- Creative Control comes out, and Flair scampers.
- CC helps Kim out of the car.
- CC says that the Powers That Be will see Kim now.
Match 13: US Title Texas Tornado Ladder Match: Scott Hall vs. Sid Vicious vs. WCW US Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart vs. Bill Goldberg
- Sid and Hall start off immediately.
- There will be a guest referee for this match.
- Hart comes hobbling down.
- Hart attacks both men.
- Goldberg jogs down to the ring, and attacks Sid.
- Hart hits a Russian legsweep on Hall as Sid beats on Goldberg.
- Nash comes out wearing ref's stripes, and he carries the ladder to the ring.
- Goldberg grabs the ladder and beats on Hall with it.
- New match for Mayhem: Kimberly vs. David Flair at Mayhem.
- Goldberg goes back into the ring to beat on Sid with the ladder.
- Rick Steiner comes down to the ring.
- Steiner delivers the Steiner Bulldog to Sid.
- Goldberg and Steiner fight.
- Nash delivers the big boot to Goldberg.
- Hart climbs the ladder, and grabs the US belt.
- Nash whacks Hart in the leg, and Hart drops the US belt into Nash's hand.
- Nash looks around, holding the belt. Everyone is down.
- Hall plays climbing the ladder, and grabs the belt from Nash.
- Hall wins the US title.
- Goldberg helps Hart up as we fade to black....
