During the Vampiro vs King Mullet, err, Mike Awesome match, when they were in the crowd people were chanting "ECW" but that got censored. Very very sad. It took me a while to catch on; I thought my hearing was going out.
At this rate, ALL crowd reaction will be edited out of the broadcast! Wait a minute, don't they do that already? Hmmm...
- David C. has a question about Sting:
During the promo for "Halloween Havoc," what in the name of the hot land of Hades are they talking about saying some crap like "Sting is going to rise from the ashes of the past and transform into something that will shock the world!" (or however they said it) Are they going to try and turn him heel again? The last time they tried that, he got more over as a face than a heel.
He's going to transform into The Black Scorpion, turn Vampiro into a tiger and make Muta disappear.
- Tamara and Bob question the specifications of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan's weapon:
All things being equal, with his Newfound(land) heel turn to Team Canada, shouldn't Jim Duggan now call his piece of lumber a 5 cm. x 10 cm. piece o' wood? I mean, 2 x 4 is using the English system of measurement.
I think someone should alert Russo to this. Afterall, I am certain he will do his utmost to ensure accuracy in the angle.
- For someone from Staten Island, Vito gets almost NO pop.
- He'll be facing his rival, Johnny Hugger.
- Vito batters Hugger, goes outside the ring and grabs another stick.
- Vito with a chop block off the ropes.
- Vito takes his stick and slams a home run.

- After some stick shots, Hugger nails a spinning heel kick.

- Hugger plays to the crowd and gets kicked and tied up in the ring ropes.
- Vito flails away and talks trash, but Reno runs-in and nails Vito from behind.

- The Animals whip Jindrak to the corner.
- Juvi springboards on Rey and dives onto Jindrak.
- Rey tries the Bronco Buster on O'Haire in the corner but he sticks his foot out.

- Disco tries to send Juvi out but he hangs on.
- Eventually Juvi gets sent out of the ring and the bell rings for no reason. That's just minor league right there.
- Rey and Jindrak almost send each other outside.
- O'Haire crotches Rey on the rope.
- Jindrak comes off top with a clothesline and sends Rey outside.
- The bell rings for real this time, and the rookies are your new tag team champs.

- In an unscripted spot, Shaggy falls off the bus after the Awesomebomb. (The referee climbed on the bus earlier, so one can assume the pinfall would be made on the roof.)
- In any case, Awesome and the ref climb down.

- As Sanders rants, the sound people cut out the "asshole" chants.

- The Natural Born Jobbers run out to take care of the peanut gallery outside.
- In the ring, Booker with the axe kick and breakdance.
- Booker sets up for the Sidekick but lifts Russo up.
- Harlem Sidekick connects.
- Booker hits his catchphrase and goes to the door but the sound of Goldberg's music makes him stay in the cage.
- WTF?
- Booker lets Goldberg in.
- Scott Steiner slams the door in Booker's face.
- Booker kicks the door into Steiner.
- As Booker walks out the door, Goldberg spears Russo through the fence at 8:35.
- Goldberg and Booker high-five as we fade.
- Now THAT is overbooking.
- Guess we'll have to wait until next week for a winner.
