WCW Worldwide - Saturday, 11/6/99
-
Scott Hudson and Larry Z are the in-studio hosts this week.
-
We start the show with a Halloween Havoc recap (courtesy WCW Magazine and www.wcw.com)
-
Why are pictures from the magazine always vid clips? Shouldn't they be
photos?
- I still don't get why Brad Armstrong won his match. It made no sense, and
it was ignored the next night.
- They don't mention or show that Hogan guy.
- They also just barely mention that Sid got bloodied (and didn't show it) and didn't mention the ref stop.
- Or mention Ric getting beat stretchered and beat by the Animals.
- "[Goldberg] won the match, and apparently title at Havoc."
- Larry explains that the match wasn't sanctioned. Mmm, okay.
- Local house show ad, Sunday 12/5, 7:30 at the UC

horseman."

-
"She leaned forward and bit me."
-
"Save this act for Las Vegas!"
-
Back to Nitro, for the Outsiders
-
The Outsiders slowly make their way to the ring and kill time.
-
Goldberg interrupts
-
On to the Bret/Goldberg match, and Bret winning thanks to the Outsiders/Sid
-
Rick Cornell vs Kid Romeo
-
Wow, no transition. We're back from the break and right into the arena.
-
Larry and Scott are still the announcers.
-
Larry complains about too many people with shaved heads.

-
Romeo reverses and works over the arm, leading to a Northern Lights Suplex
(no bridge)
-
Romeo with 2 running snap leg drops, 1 count.
-
Romeo whip, clothesline misses, kick caught, Cornell spins him around and
drops him with a modified chokeslam, I guess.
-
Cornell with a elbow drop, did Romeo's dance and missed a knee drop.
-
Cornell's selling a knee injury as he gets up, but then soon forgets it.
-
Cornell with punches, cross corner whip, but it's reversed by Cornell.
-
Cornell spinning heel kick (I guess...looked odd) missed badly. Romeo with
punches, cross corner whip is reversed
-
Cornell hits a T-Bone suplex as Romeo rebounds out of the corner.
-

-
Romeo slowly gets to the top rope...'rana on to Cornell
- Cornell gets back up, dropkick, whip, but Romeo with a spinning heel kick.
- Romeo with a piledriver bodyslam for the 3 count.
-
Think Al Snow's Snow Plow
-
Your Winner: Kid Romeo
-
Disciple vs Jim Duggan
-
Hudson says any arena in the country would be happy to have this as a main event.
-
As usual, Hudson squeezes in all of Discple's past gimmicks, but slips in Beefcake and Butcher to see if the WWF Lawyers are watching.
-
Disciple is wearing a really ugly yellow coat.
-
WHY? Why me?
- I think I'm taking Darsow/Biggs over this match.
- Disciple stall out side the ring, then uses the ref, then uses the ropes.
- Hudson brings up Leslie's parasailing accident, saying both have had traumatic injuries out the ring.
-
Lockup, ropes, Disciple with a cheap shot.
-
Whip, Duggan with three clothesline.
