I did get a couple of complaints, though. First, the pictures used for the points were too small and were enlarged thanks to the effort of Bill. Second, a lot of people did not recognize the woman in the picture, so if you still cannot make heads or tails on who is being depicted, it's Spice, the catalyst of Three Count's formation.
As for matches that I find offensive enough to give minus points to, those warrant a different picture. I won't reveal what it is, but I will give you a hint. If you look at the rotating pictures on the home page (remember, no hitting the RELOAD key!), you may have seen the "negative point" picture.
The nWo took some damage, instead of running dominant like they usually do.
That alone deserves some applause. I'm glad WCW realized that even though the nWo needs to score the upper hand to further the storylines, the good guys also have to get their share of victories. If you recall, the past nWo incarnations were hampered, in my opinion, due to the fact that outside of Curt Hennig and sometimes Scott Hall, very few nWo members were willing to put the WCW guys over. (I'm not counting B-Teamers by the way.)
Anyway, I just thought I'd pass along a round of praise for once.
- Vampiro comes out and tries to get the crowd going.
- For some reason, Vamp stays near the entrance ramp.
- While talking about the "Old Age Outlaws," Scott Hudson actually says "Oh, you didn't know." Puh-lease.
- On that note, shouldn't Wade get royalties considering how close that name is to the Old Age Inlaws monkier he gave to Davey Boy Smith and Jim Neidhart?
- Crowbar, David Flair and Daffney walk out.
- Vampiro jumps Flair and goes to work on Crowbar.
- After bringing Crowbar into the ring, Vampiro goes for a urinage on Flair.
- Crowbar makes the save with a somersault plancha to the outside!
- Back inside, Crowbar hits a slingshot splash for two.
- Crowbar chokes Vampiro on the middle rope.
- Flair holds Vampiro for Crowbar to leap on.
- Vampiro comes back with a urinage and a legdrop for two.
- Vampiro with a series of kicks.
- Vampiro does his "Devil" pose from Tekken 2. (The one where he's shooting the laser beams from his eyes)
- They reverse go-behinds, and Crowbar gets in a German suplex.
- Crowbar leaps to the apron and hits a somersault legdrop for two.
- Vampiro lands a DDT.
- Vampiro goes to the middle rope but Daffney distracts the referee, allowing Flair to trip Vamp off.
- Crowbar goes up top for a frankensteiner but Vamp counters into a powerbomb for the win!
- YOUR WINNER: Vampiro via top-rope powerbomb in 2:57.
- Post-match, Vamp gives Flair a side kick but Daffney nails him with a pipe.
- As the heels beat down Vampiro, Arn Anderson enters the ring to talk to his godson.
- Crowbar tries to go for Arn but gets beat down.
- Flair and his chick leave Crowbar lying.
- Tonight, we have an "All Outdoor Hardcore Match" between Norman Smiley and Brian Knobbs.
- If you think that's bad, we also have an evening gown match between Madusa and Oklahoma.
- Also, Booker T, Stevie Ray and Midnight face off in a three-way.
- Chris "Champagne" Kanyon and Bam Bam Bigelow will wrestle in a Champagne on a Pole match. Wasn't the world waiting for that?
- Sid Vicious and Chris Benoit takes on Jeff Jarrett and Kevin Nash.
- Hart says the crowd has a right to boo.
- Hart says he doesn't know what's going on. Of course, if you read his weekly column recently, you knew this.
- Hart does his "I let everyone down" talk.
- Hart says he deserves the disgust of the fans.
- Hart apologizes for letting everyone down.
- Hart says that Nash likes shortcuts and that the nWo is a bunch of thugs.
- Hart says he's going to start changing things from here on in.
- Hart says the nWo is out and the pink-and-black-attack is back.
- Hart tells Jarrett, Steiner and Nash to stick the nWo where the sun doesn't shine.
- Said three men now hit the entryway.
- Nash says that some things never change and that he was the same way in New York -- too stupid for his own good.
- Nash asks Hart if he thinks the crowd wants heroes.
- Nash says the crowd wants heroes but with the nWo, Hart has a chance to become a god.
- Nash runs down the fans and says they live vicariously through the nWo.
- Nash says that Canadian hero bull[MUTE] is dead.
- Nash says that hard work doesn't pay. Sadly, that's the truth in WCW.
- Nash wants Hart to come back to the nWo tonight.
- Hart calls Nash a tall piece of [MUTE].
- Hart says he'll take on the nWo one after another.
- Nash gives Hart a chance to leave the building.
- Hart says he isn't going anywhere and that Nash is finished.
- Nash says that Hart's career will be finished and if the nWo feels like it, his life will be finished also.
- During this segment, someone's sign was blurred out, it seems.
- We see Smiley telling some guy in the back that it's too cold to go outside.
- Smiley goes outside and the door slams shut.
- Knobbs blindsides Smiley and assaults him with various objects.
- Knobbs slams Smiley through a table.
- Smiley rams Knobbs into a large door.
- Smiley uses a trash can lid on Knobbs.
- Smiley tosses Knobbs into a crate and beans him with a trash can.
- Knobbs throws a trash can at Smiley.
- Smiley comes back with the same weapon.
- Smiley sends Knobbs into the large door and lands some rights.
- Knobbs comes back and plasters Smiley with a board.
- Smiley tosses Knobbs into a parking sign and uses it as a weapon.
- A car comes out of nowhere and runs into Smiley.
- Knobbs hits Smiley with a shovel (which breaks apart) and covers for the win.

- And somewhere, a person actually cares.
- I should also point out that a heatless Knobbs title reign is counteractive to Smiley's push and is ridiculous given the fact that the two men wrestle in a four-way match.
- In other words, if Meng or Fit Finlay win the title at Souled Out, this match is rendered useless.
DUD.
- We see clips of Perry Saturn going all New Jack on Rey Mysterio, Jr.
- Shane Douglas tells the Filthy Animals that Sunday is their day of reckoning.
- Douglas says his group is capable of finishing this battle.
- Douglas has a question: Who is the Revolution's mystery partner?
- Douglas teases himself but says to wait and see.
- Douglas says he'll hit the Animals from all sides.
- Nice to see Saturn and Asya standing side to side.
- Douglas says that Hacksaw Jim Duggan is next.
- Dean Malenko asks what is a war without victims.
- Malenko says every great army will get their recognition.
- Malenko says at Souled Out, the flag of the Revolution will go up and the Animals will go down.
- Saturn gives a goofy promo about spinning wheels.
- Asya gives Saturn a cold look, in which Saturn asks what she is looking at.
- Douglas separates the two and tells Asya to know her role.
- Douglas tells Asya not to screw up again and runs her down.
- Wasn't Debbie the one who vehemently opposed this type of match during Russo's debut Nitro?
- And why do I have to put up with Ed Ferrera on my screen?

- As Hancock walks away, Madusa kicks Oklahoma from behind.
- Madusa tosses Oklahoma into the steps.
- Oklahoma gets a shot to the face.
- Oklahoma sends Madusa to the steps.
- Oklahoma grabs on his leg for some reason and sends Madusa inside.
- Oklahoma tries to pull the hidden BBQ sauce out of his leg but fails.
- Oklahoma chokes Madusa in the ring and slams her down.
- Oklahoma just can't get the BBQ sauce unattached from his leg.
- Madusa attacks from behind and hits a backdrop suplex.
- Madusa rips the gown from Oklahoma and wins the match.

- Post-match, Oklahoma (in boxers) smacks Madusa with the BBQ sauce.
- Oklahoma disrobes the top part of Madusa's gown and pours the BBQ sauce on Madusa.
- Let's see. There was the inherent stupidity of an evening gown match with someone who protested when told to work such a match, plus the fact that I had to put up with Ed Ferrera, his BBQ sauce and his ability to suck the heat from his opponent and turn it into nothing. And there wasn't much a match to begin with.

- Lockup, Booker with a headlock.
- Booker comes off the ropes with a shoulderblock.
- Midnight gets up and goes back down with a shoulderblock.

- A sad sequence leads to a Midnight dropkick.
- Midnight tries a whip but Booker reverses and hits his axe kick.
- Midnight lands a right.
- Booker with a boot to the midsection.

- Stevie throws Booker back in and tells Midnight to pin him.
- Midnight goes to cover, but takes Booker's unconscious arm and pins herself.

- Bigelow charges the ring and Kanyon answers with fists.
- Kanyon kicks away next to the ropes.
- Bigelow reverses a whip, but Kanyon slides under and grabs him from behind.
- Bigelow hits a back elbow and goes up for the champagne bottle.
- Kanyon counters with a powerbomb from the turnbuckle for two.
- Kanyon goes up for the bottle but gets shaken off when Bigelow charges the ropes.
- Bigelow hits a backdrop suplex.
- Bigelow lands a diving headbutt.
- Bigelow goes up top but gets crotched.
- Kanyon heads up top and hits a Russian legsweep.

- Mickey Jay calls for a ten count and Kanyon gets up at nine.

- Post-match, Lex Luger (in Sting get-up) comes into the ring from behind and hits Bigelow with a bat.

- A spotlight airs on Luger as he looks at a crow standing by ringside.
- Luger takes comfort with Liz and walks to the back.
- Bigelow has words for Luger in the ring until Kanyon hits him from behind with the champagne bottle.
- Kanyon then hits That's A Wrap.
- I would have rated that higher, but the hyperbooking at the end of the segment really killed it for me.
- Gene talks about DDP filming a movie as Kim was doing her Nitro Girl search.
- Kim talks about new challenges and what-not.
- Gene asks Kim what it's like to be a celebrity couple.
- Kim says the two get pulled into different directions.
- Gene brings up Buff Bagwell, but Kim refers more to publicists.
- Gene asks why Kim is off television.
- Kim says that DDP thought she was getting too wrapped up with people at work.
- Gene brings Buff's name up again.
- Kim says it's not about Buff, it's about DDP and her.
- Gene asks Kim how things are in the bedroom at home.
- Kim says she and DDP have never had a problem.
- Gene talks about rumors between Kim and Buff in Little Rock, AK.

- Jarrett tries to cut a promo on Bret Hart but Sid's music interrupts.

- Benoit clotheslines Jarrett over the top.
- Sid lands a right on Jarrett as Nash follows Benoit outside.

- Nash takes out Sid with the U. S. belt.
- Nash tosses the belt into the ring for Jarrett behind Robinson's back.
- Jarrett misses the belt shot and Benoit hits a backdrop suplex.
- Benoit goes up top for the swan dive but Nash shoves him off the top onto the U. S. belt.
- This allows Jarrett to hit The Stroke for the win.

- Hart tells the nWo he wants to finish it right now.
- Jarrett and Nash come out with baseball bats.

- Arn Anderson (w/ bucket) and Terry Funk (w/ "branding iron") walk toward the ring.
- Arn and Funk hit the ring.
- Funk clears Jarrett from the ring and gets a mic.
- Funk says Arn has a bucket of water and tells the nWo to get into the ring.
- Funk tells Bret to get out of the ring.
- Arn throws the water at Bret, revealing his bruises were make-up.
- Bret hammers Arn with the pipe in return, and the nWo beat down Funk.
- Bret takes off his white shirt to reveal an nWo one underneath. Like I predicted, his hair remained intact.
- The "New Age Outlaws" (Tenay's wording, not mine) hit the ring, but Orndorff gets taken out.
- Sid Vicious and Chris Benoit charge the ring.
- Jarrett beats down Zbyzsko outside the ring.
- Nash beats Sid with a pipe and does the same to Funk.
- Orndorff goes outside.
- As Nash grabs the branding iron, Funk hits a ballshot.
- Funk and Nash reach for the branding iron as we fade.
- What a cop-out ending.
