  • Mean Gene calls them "the first couple of Sports Entertainment".
    • That's what he said about Tammy and Chris, and look what happened to them....
  • Torrie says she proved how tough she was, in the scaffold match.
  • Shane talks a lot and says nothing.

• The announcers discuss Torrie, Shane and that scaffold match, before sending it back to the other announcers...

  • But back to the big story: Jim Duggan turning Canadian.
  • Bobby: "He saw the light!"
  • Back to Nitro 9/25, in Canada
    • Duggan talks.
    • The MIA attack, starting the six man.
    • Duggan ends it with a 2 x 4 shot.
    • Lance and Jim try to break Hugh's leg.
  • On to the Thunder 9/28
    • Duggan threatens to burn and trash the Flag.
    • MIA with the worst save in history.
    • Hugh gets beat up protecting the flag.
  • Hudson: "When we come back - must be something in the genes - now David Flair's having a breakdown...".
    • I thought we all decided to forget that happened?

  • Anyone got free tickets?

  • That's what I thought.
  • Then again...if there IS a management change before then...

  • After seeing the ratings this is getting, maybe this is "Who cares who the baby's father is?"
  • Bobby points out Stacy's one crucial mistake
    • She should have gotten married first, then told David about the baby being someone else's....
    • That way, you still get the money.
  • Back to Nitro
    • Tenay's interview with David Flair.
    • There's your figure-four on the postman.
    • Smooth's got the video tape
    • David watches the tape.
  • Back to Thunder
    • Tenay talks to Stacy Kiebler
  • Back to the studio, where Bobby talks about...um...well, he's reading the gossip column.
    • "Ellen Degneres and her, um, mate broke up, Melissa Etheridge and her, um, companion have broken up, it happens to everyone. Seventy percent of the rates are divorce, and the other thirteen percent are lying."
    • Hudson shoots a look at the camera to confirm that he doesn't know what Bobby's talking about either.
    • "What does THAT have to do -"
    • Bobby throws the paper behind him, and they get back on track.
    • Maybe Bobby was considering a whole group of possibilities that no one else had yet...
    • I'm not sure how that'd work, and I think I'm better off leaving this line of thought now.

• Sting will be reborn at Halloween Havoc.
  • Actually, he won't.
  • They've said that nothing unexpected for Sting is planned, on WCW Live.
  • They're still running the ads promising something will, though.

• Disco is a Filthy Animal no more.
  • Scott says Disco was a bad fit with the Animals.
  • Bobby: "I like Disco. I didn't see how he didn't fit."
  • Bobby: "The man's a great entertainer and a great dancer."
  • Back to Nitro
    • Disqo lays down the challenge.
    • I do like the new visual ad.
    • The audio's still off.
    • No one's bother to fix that, and it's really annoying.
    • We don't hear the Cat ban interference.
    • But we do get to see all of a match, for once.
    • The Filthy Animals chase him out of the building.
  • Back to Thunder
    • Disqo talks about the #1 contender match
    • Of course we don't get to see all of this match.
    • We do get a minute of the ending.
    • There's Disco and his duck.
  • Hudson: "Disco never quite 'had it like that'".
  • Bobby: "They need a guy like Disco.  He's a guy with a brain..he's an important part of this industry."
  • Hudson: "Disco?"
  • Bobby: "I thought you were talking about me?"

    As the "Chosen One," what has been the single biggest moment for you in World Championship Wrestling?

  • Jeff Jarrett responds:

    Listen Don, you big slappy, that's the dumbest question I've ever heard of.  The Chosen One's biggest moment of his career?  April 16th, year 2000, United Center, Spring Stampede, the Chosen One realized his dream and proved to the entire world that I do have all the Stroke in WCW when I beat DDP for WCW World Heavyweight Title.

  • Bobby's finally off the phone
    • Scott asks if he talked to Duggan.
    • Bobby: "I couldn't get to him, I got to his agent. He's busying...waxing his kayak."
    • Scott: "Ouch. Well, he's in Canada, maybe that's legal there."
    • Bobby: "You can get slivers doing that."
    • Scott: "How big is the kayak?"
    • Bobby: "Well, depends..."

• Johnny the Bull (w/Sanders, Reno and Perfect Event) vs "Wildcat" Chris Harris
  • The best thing about the Natural Born Thrillers?
    • Perfect Event barely wrestles anymore.
  • Sanders gets the stick!
    • "Excuse me, the Natural Born Thrillers are going do it to you one time, tonight's the night, we're going do it right here in the PA and I do believe we're going have some fun, Thriller time, a little bit of here, a little bit of here, a little bit of everywhere.
    • You don't how long it took me to decipher that, and part of it's still probably wrong.
    • Dude, sentences. You can pause between words and not jumble them all together.
    • "First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Big Sexy Kevin Nash, not so much for being a coach, but for being a mentor. I would also like to thank Vince Russo, because he's a great GREAT man. Now Johnny, Johnny, take care of the Thriller business tonight."
  • YEA! Chris Harris!
  • Lockup, Johnny with an armbar, headlock, off the ropes, shoulderblock.
  • Johnny off the ropes, over Harris, under the leapfrog, hiptoss.
  • There's another.
    • Johnny rolls out to talk.
    • Hmm, they're talking for a long time there...
    • Pescado by Harris!
    • Everyone but Johnny moved out of the way, and don't help him after.
  • There's some punches on the outside, and Johnny's rolled in.
  • Harris off the top rope...but caught into a Ligerbomb!
  • Johnny with some stomping, and there's a choke.
  • Whip, reversed, hiptoss, Johnny (awkwardly) lands on his feet, punch, and a spin kick.
  • Johnny with a kick, kicks and punches in the corner.
  • Harris reverses it, and gets in some of his own punches.
  • But Johnny ends that with an eye rake.
  • Johnny with a corner whip, reversed, Harris eats boot.
  • Johnny out with a clothesline, but Harris ducks under, inverted atomic drop.
  • Harris is off the ropes, but right into a spinebuster.
  • Johnny with the jump to the top rope, steadies himself, and there's the top rope twisting legdrop.
    • Wow. You'd think he wouldn't be in a hurry to pull that out again.
  • Johnny talks to Palumbo, then charges at Harris, but Harris moves out of the way.
  • Harris with a punch, punch, whip, reversed, under the clothesline, and Harris with a Thesz press.
    • Harris doesn't go for the pin, content with just punches instead.
  • Whip, reversed, Johnny tries for a hiptoss, but Harris hits a swinging neckbreaker.
    • Harris imitates Big Vito for no particular reason.
  • Body slam, Harris going to the top...top rope elbow drop!
  • That's his finisher, so it's time for the interference.
    • Except the Thrillers blew the timing, and Harris has to wait for Stasiak to get on the apron before he can deck him.
  • Down goes Stasiak, down goes Sanders, down goes Reno.
  • But that allows Johnny to sneak up and hit a Canadian Backbreaker into a front slam
  • That'll be good enough for 3.
  • Your Winner: Johnny the Bull (4:34)
  • Thrillers beat down Harris.
    • Konnan puts over Harris...
    • Hmm...
  • Whoa, here comes Big Vito for the save!
  • Reno ducks under the stickball shot, but gets superkicked.
  • Stickball shots for Reno, Palumbo and Sanders.

• Shane Douglas (w/Torrie Wilson) vs Scotty Patrick
  • Shane says something, but I don't care.
  • Lockup, Shane with a front facelock.
  • Shane pushes him into the corner, elbow, elbow, elbow, punch, corner whip.
  • Shane with a powerslam.
  • Shane with a hanging vertical suplex into a Falcon arrow. 2 count.
  • Whip, kick, running knee.
  • Corner whip, Patrick gets a foot up on the charge, and there's a clothesline, and another. And another.
  • Whip, backdrop, dropkick, and Shane's out of the ring.
  • Patrick with a running plancha.
  • Patrick with a shot into the mat, but Shane fights back with an eye poke.
  • Whip, but reversed and Shane gets set into to guardrail.
  • Scotty and Torrie have words, but Scotty turns his back on her, and gets pulled down by the hair.
  • Scotty starts to go after Torrie, but Shane grabs him from behind, and gives him a stun gun on the guardrail.
  • Shane throws him, in, whip, boot, elbow, elbow, whip, reversed, Patrick hits a dropkick.
  • Patrick to the top, but Shane beals him off.
  • Shane with the twisting HUG OF DOOM (the Franchiser) and that's it.
  • Your Winner: Shane Douglas (3:14)
  • That move might look convincing if anyone knew how to take the bump.
    • Danny Doring's opponents make it look much more effective in ECW.

• Bobby and Scott wrap up.
  • They hype Halloween Havoc already.
  • News on Goldberg next week.
  • Bobby believes he did quit.
  • Scott believes Russo wrote the letter.
  • Scott: "You believe the letter? Wanna to buy a watch?"
  • Bobby: "What kind?"
